I remeber them too as do my kids as my dad who is in his late 50s used to put it on for us all. He has even bought a DVD for my 3. In fact he calls Piers and Lydia Willy and Jenny the twins and asks them where spotty dog is.

I thought it was Hugh, Pugh,.....

Some of the characters are quite scary looking!

I found a clip of Twizzle - haven't seen him for ages.

Whoops.....you are right :notworthy: , see I am getting old and the memory is going

Oh that brings back so many memories. I used to love Torchie and Twizzle, later at Secondary something called Tinga and Tucker (not sure of spelling).

Id forgotten about White Horses, absolutely loved it.

"on white horses let me ride away,

to a world of dreams so far away,

let me run, to the sun

To a world my heart can understand its a gentle warm and wonderland etc etc"

Do you remember "follyfoot" with the girl who was forever gazing into the distance muttering "Oh Steve"

Thanks for the memories, with my first over 50 birthday tomorrow I wasnt feeling like a very happy bunny today!

Was Follyfoot the one with "the lightening tree" song?

There was also Belle and Sebastian, Robinson Crusoe and the ??ingle, ??ingle Tree (a folk tale in a foreign language). All on a Monday, after school when we would go to visit my Nan.
