chris54 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 I don't agree with non uniform days. And if it comes to it I don't agree with school collecting money from children for charity. That is not the job of school, if I what to give to charity I will decide what , when and how much. But that is just me and I don't supposed any one will agree with me about that. pookie170 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Ooh, Chris, you'd have a field day with my littl'uns school! They do charidee things every other week, it seems, and THEEEENN there's school fundraising events on top! Though, I do remember when we all brought in 50 pence pieces to primary school, and laid them in a line all around the school....can't for the life of me remember what charity it was for (probably SCIAF though!) but I was amazed speechless by how far the line went. I got to measure it with the metre wheel too!! Did you know you could buy pudsey clothes for li'l kids in A##A this year??? Is it me, or is that over-egging the pudding? I think I'm becoming a victoria meldrew before my time......or not, possibly, as my eldest assumed I'd experienced WW2 as I'm so patently ancient!!!
