ScienceGeek Report post Posted November 17, 2008 The psychiatrist I saw mentioned something called space gloves, thing is I couldn't remember the shop he said to get them from. My searches on the internet are coming up with nothing. They are cooking gloves that are made of stuff that takes really high temperatures so no matter how hot you won't be burnt. He recommends them for people with ASDs that have accidents while cooking. He said they were made of the same material that is on the space stations. Anyone heard of them? Know where I can get them from?
Mumble Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Space gloves? Anything in extra large should give you plenty of space I assume you will be combining them with anti-gravity boots (and if not, send the boots this way because I've had them on my Christmas list a while and Santa seems to think I'm joking and ignores that request ) I'll PM you a link to them. Mits and Boots.

warrenpenalver Report post Posted November 18, 2008 All heat resistant materials will eventually transfer heat, just a matter of how long. Also try looking under "fire gloves nomex" as you will find a range of types and sizes to suit.
