help and advice needed

I'm just confused by it all.

 

 

 

In yr 2 my dd writing assessment score was 1b and she left primary school on level 1a

 

 

She is now in Junior school and yr 3.

 

My pead wrote to the school and i have recieved a copy which the senco has sent back asking for reasons why dd should be referred to an ed psy.

 

 

 

The senco has put that dd is progressing and she current assessment score for writing is

Term 1 : 1c

Term 2 : 1b

Term 3 ; 1a

 

 

 

 

 

I'm confused as she left primary school on a level 1a

 

 

 

I just written a hurried letter to him and photy copied her national curriculum assessment level from yr 2 which says her current level was 1b and predicted to achieve level 1a which she did achieve

I have asked him to look at this and tell me if this is the same assessment score from what they have given me yesterday.

 

I f it is the same then i dont class this as progressing more the fact they have done over the same work that yr 2 did.

 

Anyone else feel the same.
