chris54 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 My son was a bit sad on the way to school today. When asked it was because one of his teachers is leaving.(He has two job share teachers). For the rest of the year the other one, Mr I, will be taking over the class full time. (At the moment he works elsewhere in the school the rest of the time). Mr.I is a very experienced teacher who has worked as a headteacher but decided he wanted to get back into the classroom. The reason my son is in their class is because it was felt that Mr I would be a good influence. (if that's the right word). Any way my son said he was sad because she, Mrs P, "Is the best teacher in the school". She is going on to be the head of department in another school. I think it is as much to do with the way the lessons are slit up between them that anything else. Mrs P does more of the away from the desk stuff. Mrs P will be missed as she was active in many areas of the school.
Tally Report post Posted March 31, 2009 It's a shame you will be losing such a good teacher, but it also sounds like your son will be left in good hands.
