Recommended Posts

well i havent posted for a while but i thought i would give a update,

my big son who has had on going problems with alcohol and other issues

problems with the law,a total lack of understanding in what is acceptable.

he dosent understand money at all so just makes a hash of things all the time.

has moved in with his girlfriend, poor girl.

to be honest our house is 100% better without him,

but he is also going to become a dad in july,

crikey just wait till you are all becoming grand parents

ohhhhh we are soo tired....

my baby son is doing really well at high school, well supported and happy.

they understand asd at his school which makes such a diffrence.

my biggest problems are with the big one.

our grandmonster is due on july the 21st i pray he/she isnt asd.

its how i feel, love noogsy xxx

I know this one!! my Dd1 who is 21 and undiagnosed although I am convinced she is somewhere on the spectrum, has a daughter who is nearly two. Dd1 is a single parent but gets a lot of support from various family members. She is useless with money and has recently been in trouble for not paying her gas and electric. We try our best to help [not financially though]. Gd1 is absolutely brilliant and I can't imagine what life would be like without her now, but at the beginning I was terrified that I would have to bring her up.

I hope things get better for you. B)

Good to see you, noogsy! :)

I'm not sure I could cope with being a grandparent yet, just recovering from the first round! Being a dad may change your son completely for the better - you never know.

Glad your younger son is doing well.

I laugh sometimes when J has a girlfriend as they are always wacky and just like him, now if they had a kid together it would turn out double ADHD and double ASD, I just know it, but wow what a kid, our kids are hard work but there isnt one like them out there, I think been a parent does change you, I feel blessed having the opportunity to share Js life.

I wish you happiness in been a grandparent, at least you can hand them back to their mum and dad, you will get the good parts Im sure and be able to spoil her rotton, which is what grandmas are suppose to do, you have an oportunity to go down the slides and another go on the swings, im sure you will love it too.

Good Luck
