Kathryn Report post Posted April 10, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8604625.stm So really, anything goes - just about any combination of letters could be a proper noun in some language - and who can say it isn't? Whatever next in the mission to dumb down traditional games and make them "easier" and more "fun"?? How about: Monopoly - if you run out of cash to buy a set of houses you can just help yourself to more from the bank. (Should be popular with MP's ) Snakes and ladders - you can now go up the snakes as well as up the ladders. Noughts and crosses - Each person has 3 consecutive goes. Any more ideas? got the tshirt Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Don't worry Kathryn. I heard on the radio that you will still be able to buy the original version. I like your new versions of the games, unfortunatly all my children thought of them first !!! lol
baddad Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Cluedo - I don't know, but it wasn't me (win by default) Operation - when the buzzer goes off you blame it on Govt. cutbacks Connect Two - (big arguments about who goes first) Monopoly - The taxman always wins version. Hangman for idiots - think of a vowel and the other person has to guess it in less that eight goes. Non diagonal draughts Charades for idiots - is it a book. a film or a stage show? Yes - your go now... Ladders and ladders - the only way is up... Suck football Yahtzee for idiots - throw a number between 1 & 6 to win. Femidominoes (like dominoes but safer) Dominatrixoes (like dominoes only pervier) Dick and Dominoes (kids version of dominoes with lots of farting) Tremoloes - 60's beat combo Bungo - like bingo but you bribe the caller Thnap - like snap but for people with lithpth Backbacon - like backgammon but quicker. Fartzee - a cross between yahtzee and dick and dominoes (don't push too hard)...

minerva Report post Posted April 11, 2010 Dick and Dominoes (kids version of dominoes with lots of farting) Isn't that the one where you have to shout "BOGIES" real loud if you win? Kathryn I think we'd stick to the original rules. My kids luckily have a vocabulary sufficient for the old game!!! I think if anyone would need to buy that version for their kids then they are probably the sort of person that wouldnt buy it anyway!
