Lucas Report post Posted June 8, 2005 How typical that New Labour(not to be confused with the real Labour) thinks attacking the opposition is a valid response to genuine concerns. How strange that the law doesn't state that a child should not be in mainstream school if it harms their own growth. It only says if it contradicts the parent's wishes(and how many parents will be misled about the benefits of mainstreaming over specialist help?) or if it disrupts the learning of other students(which is always attributed to the disability without a shred of objective proof). I'm fuming. I'll post again later.
