I'm Casey, I'm 23 and mummy to Harvey and Alfie, Harvey is my child with autism, He is 3, nearly 4 and was diagnosed at just over 2 and a half, which I was told was really early and good they've found it early at the moment he is severe but I think thats because he doesnt talk, he is such a lovely little boy though Alfie is 2 and a half and he is NT, just thought I'd introduce myself Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

justine1 Report post Posted November 19, 2011 Hi and welcome <'> I have four boys,two have ASD Sam age 8(diagnosed age6)he attends an ASD unit at a mainsteam school and Dan age 5 (diagnosed age 4) attends a small mainstream but likely to attend an ASD unit next year. It is great that your son was diagnosed early,hope that he is getting the necessary help for his speech. The forum is great for all sorts of advice, definatley look at the education section as I am sure you will be needing to think about education options soon.
