I'm studying psychology - but its very hard doing it all by myself - the tutors don't often understand me - I can't get to any tutorials - I hate studying sometimes, its so isolated and difficult without any assistance whatsoever. It isn't that I can't do the work - its that I can't do all of it without having someone to talk about it with (even through email) I'm sitting here by myself in my home and trying to get a degree and its just so annoying that I can't get involved with the social and tutorial sides of things - and that only 1 in 4 tutors are any good. darkshine Report post Posted April 30, 2012 I have DSA for some things but I don't really understand much about it - my carer is gonna ring this week and see what's what - so annoying having to rely on other people for things that seem like they should be relatively simple. I was due a reassessment but it hasn't happened so far. Apparently I have ranstad one-to-one allocation for specialist tutoring or something - so I have to find out if that can happen - like a side tutor in study skills sorta thing or something (that's why my carer is ringing to find out about it) And I did ask someone on here about some software but they haven't got back. Apparently there's software that can read out essays - which would be really helpful cuz then I could listen to how it sounds cuz I don't always see some really stupid mistakes using text alone - but I don't know what the software is called or how to google it (I have tried but I keep getting all sorts of rubbish come back) - so frustrating!!
