Special_talent123 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 The female housemate, whom I have trouble with is taking my independence away from me. She is doing my house chore - thanks to her now I have no chores to do today, hoovering my job not hers.
darkshine Report post Posted November 10, 2012 Maybe she was being "helpful" - some people think they are being helpful and don't realise that they are not helping at all.
Special_talent123 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 She is not helpful, she is one of those people who you will not get on. She is actually a bully to me, she even gave me a nasty look when i was getting my breakfast.
Mike_GX101 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 Cleaning is a horrible chore for many and maybe your housemate thought she needed to do *her bit*. She thought she was helping you...maybe you could make her a coffee in return and use the time to communicate your needs - tell her that you hoover because it restores your sense of independence. Special_talent123 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 (edited) she never appreciates anything ive done.... she is a bully though, she makes threats and everything. I am not making a coffee for her. The house staff are aware of her causing me issues and i have to ignore her or it make it 10 times worse. also if i tell her that she doing my job, she will start threatening me. also there is the rota in the kitchen who does what on saturday Edited November 10, 2012 by Special_talent123
Mike_GX101 Report post Posted November 10, 2012 Well today you can put your feet up...you can read a magazine or watch a movie or do something else because your hoovering is done. If you still want to do it you still can though - just plug the hoover in and away you go! Who said you can't hoover again?!?
