TylersMum Report post Posted August 30, 2005 Tyler has a trampolining lesson on a Monday evening with mainly other ASD kids. He loves it. Last night we were driving there and he said to me "Mummy, can we build it?" (he had been watching Bob the Builder a short while before) and I said "Yes we can, Tyler", he responded with "No, Mummy, I'm not Tyler, I'm Wendy". Truly imaginative play. He has also started responding to being asked if he is OK with "yes, I'm fine" and have no idea where he heard that!! His speech is improving daily

TylersMum Report post Posted September 1, 2005 Thought I'd add what he did last night. I had been shopping and bought a tub of those soft cookies from sainburys that are freshly baked - he loves them and had 2 when I got in. Then I started to cook dinner and he wanted more so asked me by saying "Tyler cookie please Mummy" but I said no, so he asked Daddy, then my sister Maria, then finally he came back to me and said "Mummy, I NEED a cookie please". I had to give him another one after that impressive display of manipulation
