seen her at school other week,shes making home visit-do you know what will come of this???

i hope she really listens to me

explained lots last week-she admitted she can see autistic traits in my son

this is 3rd time hes seen her-first time was at cdc when he was very young-but now hes speaking more-all the literal stuff is more obvious

am i getting there guys????

well shes been and gone

i didnt get any straight answers except he dont need to attend a special school,he has autistic traits,but nothing fully in her face she can see,hes oppsitional,likes things in certain order,could see he wont let u play with him without him controlling it,ect.....

she cant say much cause she wants to see what camhs say

yet again i feel let down

i told her how its effecting my life

but they will not commit to anything

although she did see my son in action tonight[screaming,ect.....] as he paints different picture at school]

shes going to do a report[wow-another one-that makes me feel so much better ]

i am doubting myself alot-going to stop trying for a while now-its wearing me out

still awaiting dla outcome as it dropped from high to low and ive contested it-guess they waiting for her report[waited over 11 weeks],i just hope it goes back up -hope her report is explaining enough.

Hi, just read your post from last night, please don,t feel too disenchanted by her lack of commitment to a DX, they have to be very careful what they say , and they don,t like to commit themselves till camhs have seen them, when do you see camhs?

"We" alone cannot make a Dx as stated in our Royal College guidelines, we have to work as part of a MDT to provide insight into the communication difficulties encountered.

hi - i still waiting for appointment-but lady said she would chase it up for me and explained they got to look at everything then if they do think its more autistic than or with the other things ill be reffered back to her

only i know what they going do at camhs-go into family background and that-and theres shall i say some one at cdc who happens to belive that could be reasons behind this-ie; my sons dont see father as he was abusive to me we split and was alot of miver with court and so forth--they [or should i say someone] has been quick to say some things can be down to this.

at the time i thought maybe so

but now im not standing for that as an excuse cause my nephew has only recently got a dx[hes 25] of as,tourettes and ocd, and his mum and dad have been married for years -hes had stable up bringing-so they cant explain that away as th

Really hope you get somewhere.I think you need to really make a point about your nephews diagnosis and not back down until you get somewhere.Good Luck.
