You could try a book shop. Even if they don't have it in stock, they may be able to order it.

You can also ask at your local library if your library services can track the book down for you to borrow.

Books on autism tend to be available for higher education students and stored in main libraries but local branches can order them in for a four week loan.

If your income is small it is worth 'trying' a book and if you think it was worth reading then ordering it.

I know most of the book shops around where I live (including Libraries) have no stocked books on anything to do with AS or similar.

If your Mam doesn't want to buy it could try your local library. I've managed to order most books I wanted in.
