Sell her off for medical research (That said, if you go looking for a replacement model I think you'll find 'smart arsed', 'teenage' and 'smug' come as bundled software these days... she should grow out of it by around 35 )

mel Report post Posted May 18, 2006 i really killed all her respect for me one night when i couldnt get the dvd player to work. i'd unplugged it while hoovering and forgot to plug it back in. needless to say i felt a right prat when she walked straight to the socket and held up the unplugged plug lol. its that look they give you that makes me feel the worst. raised eyebrow, smug smirk-you know the one. Paula Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Thing is mel its the look we used to give to the so called older generation when we were teenagers and they hadnt a clue about cds and sony walkmens or the touch button phones instead of the old dial ones. Now its us receiving the looks and fealing old and outta touch.I cant even understand her conversations coz its all in a weird type of slang.
mel Report post Posted May 18, 2006 i know what you mean. Felt really dense this morning. when she was leaving for school she shouted Nabbit on the way out of the door. took me half the morning to figure out she was saying "see you in a bit" We dont have conversations, im forever asking her to explain in english what she is trying to say.
