hev Report post Posted July 10, 2006 steven has now been assessed with pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome,has anyone heard of it?they say he neither responds to praise or reprimand,it all confuses me,he had AS,ADHD and now PDA but whatever letters go after his name theres never any real help given,does anyone have any knowledge of PDA? jlp Report post Posted July 10, 2006 My son (6 with AS) is thought to have this by his consultant and she's mentioned it in a recent report - no-ones ever said what we do about it though! westie Report post Posted July 12, 2006 My seven year old is diagnosed with PDA, we had assessment at The Elizabeth Newson centre recently. If you want to talk about anything specific please PM me.
