summertime Report post Posted August 5, 2006 Hi folks, I'm new here and only found you today. Don't know if any of you are interested but Im doind a sponsored trek across the Cuban Escambray mountains in February next year, I'm hoping to raise ?3,000 but in all honesty its awareness Im hoping to raise and the funds are a by product. I'm certainly not the fittest person in the world so the training is going to be the hardest part, if you want to see how its going then I've started a blog, feel free to take a look. I'm not here to seek out sponsors but if anyone does feel an uncontrollable urge to sponsor me then who am I to stop you summertime xXx

mum22boys Report post Posted August 6, 2006 Good Luck. You are very brave. I am doing the womens challenge in Hyde Park in September for the NAS and the thought of 5km is enough!!!!! Hope you reach your target. it is definately going to a good cause. I don't usually do sponsor thingys but felt the challenge was my way of giving a bit back.
