  1. That sounds familiar to me I had ingrowing toe nails recently; 2 hospitals said it was the worst they've ever seen yet I still did sports at school when all the other teens with slightly bad ingrowing toe nails complained so much they refused to walk, but when I knock my knee once I was on the floor sucking in air through my teeth
  2. (Sorry to necro-post by 4 days) Have you got it working yet?
  3. A routine naturally came to me and it's working well. Day is: Get up, drink a coffee, watch news, have breakfast, get dressed, get school stuff ready, pack lunch and then to school, then when I get home it's get changed into "civilian wear", and spend the rest of the day doing nothing, sometimes home work, when I am on the computer I go through a list of all the forums I am on in a certain order and check my emails in a certain order of websites then play a game. When ever someone destroys my routine I just close my eyes and think ahead for a while before making the next move. Now that I am going through GCSE's my routine is thrown off slightly, so it's more loose around the school part of the day and homework and revision is a high priority than computers. Routines are good
  4. I joke around saying she wears them to people who ask, she probably actually does. Also, at my school, if something cool is in the teacher's desk, it'll be stolen in a few days. My mother has emailed her now. And, my school doesn't actually know I have AS but they know I have dyspraxia. Well, they're supposed to know, some of the staff have had puzzled faces when I mension I have dyspraxia and think it's not important because the school would have been notified of it, the problem is we have notified the school of this number of times, but all the staff still have no idea what it is or show a sign of caring. A CAMHS woman apparently told my school that they reckon I have AS but I haven't been spoken to by any staff or anyone that needs to know about it at school. Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent school, just that the priorities are all muddled up. It spent it's budget on a hundred new computers, but I have more qualifications than my ICT teacher does! EDIT: Okay, Igot my cat ears back :3 That's the most important thing. Today I had a religious studies exam, i was supposed to use a word processor to do it but my school doesn't actually have any X_X I had a squeeky desk throughout the exam too and i thought i was about to cry. Writing is so painful.

    What is mind games?

That sounds so scary. Haha. Me using complex social skills and manipulation, I have as much social skill as a padlock.
  6. A friend of mine was rather angry with me and said i was rude and i play mind games, i didn't understand what that meant and she said it wasn't what I say but what I do. What is playing mind games?
  7. Well, I've been trying the nice act all last week and i just can't keep up my politeness. I think manners and being polite are extremely important, so I do know what they are!
  8. Confiscation of property is not allowed? I didn't know that I have told my mother about it all and she will email the teacher asking her nicely to give them back and saying sorry that I was so rude. EDIT: It must depend on the school if confiscation is allowed or not
  9. The Vista Aero theme uses enough CPU to stop a program running entirely and make the ones that do crash. Go into Control Panel --> Personalization --> Window Colour and Appearance --> Open Classic Appearance properties for more color options --> Windows Vista Basic --> Apply --> OK This loses the CPU Thieving glassy/transparency effects on your windows and programs, it frees the CPU from 90% to 5% with a 1gig RAM computer and allows more CPU to be used with programs such as office. If that doesn't work, right click on the icon of your office program, go to compatibility, select Windows XP SP2 and Administrator and then apply.
  10. As every human has in the world, I have good days and bad days, but the past 2 days have been a mix. Today I went to go see a teacher who confiscated a pair of cat ears I like wearing a few months back, she has been "promising" to give them backt to me for a few weeks now. Each day is the same when I see her "Sorry, I left them in the car. Tomorrow I promis". Yesterday she said just that, but added "I will give them to you during your maths lesson myself" so I held her to her word and she just didn't, so after school I went into her room, where some of my friends were, and I waited her to finish her discussion. She looked at me and said "The cat ears are still in my car, I'll give them back tomorrow" and I just said, not shouting (But it was angrily), I said "You aren't a very reliable person, not being directly offensive to you" She said "That is very offensive. Like I said, I will give them back to you tomorrow" and I said "Like the way you said you'd give them back all last week, and yesterday and now today?" and she tried to say something but I quickly tried to say "You know what? I don't care anymore" I said tried to say because it wasn't coming out in the right order so i threw my arms down angrily and walked out, she called out with "You're lucky to be getting them back at all" I turned to give a come-back to that but couldn't think of one. (I now think I should have said "At the rate you're going I'll never get them back" but thinking "I should have said _____ " isn't very helpful) I was annoyed at that. Then straight after my mother texts me saying that I can now use a word processor in my GCSE's, so finally I'm getting some help with my education. It's only about, hmm, 11 years too late! I was happy about that.
  11. Grr Yu-gi-oh. I found out very recently and i only believed it after reading books and seeing that I am just like the described characters and after going on other websites. I was in denial for a few weeks with "I have dyspraxia, not asperges!" and now i found out you can have both! I felt very sad when i learnt that asperges children should be getting help throughout education and i had to struggle on with dyspraxia (Even dyspraxia children need help in education, although the priority in comparison with asperges is lower) and I didn't get help with my dyspraxia because my mother taught me to put up with it and over come my issues so my schools believed that it was an issue that didnt effect me, although it did greatly effect me behind my smiling face (A put on smile that is!).
  12. I just spent the past 10 minutes trying to remember why I used to make loud groaning noises, or howling, when I was young, there wasn't really a reason. I still quietly cry out loudly in my mind when I am asked to do homework or to make my bed when I can be using the time to do something more appealing to me. I do homework when I have the drive to do it, same with making bed, getting into bath, washing up dishes. When I was very young (I don't suggest you try this with a 12 year old!) when I was a baby my mother would put me on the floor so I couldn't hurt myself when I started screaming for no apparent reason and so I would know she was still there she would just put her foot on top of me (not crushing me on the floor or stomping the life out of me!). I hope this helps you understand or work this out. I will probably continue puzzling out this behaviour for a few more hours!
  13. I think I will keep this one high in my list of websites to visit daily. Everytime I come home from school I go through checking all the websites I know in a particular order What I would like to do most with my time on this forum is to help others understand.
  14. Hello I am Xilef I have recently been told I have asperges, ever since I was told I have been noticing the signs more and more and braved onto this forum. I have already signed up to 50+ forums, it'll be hard to keep track of this one too but I will try. I have my own website, I like computers loads, been using a Mac since I was born and a Commodor64 had been in my family before that up to when I was 6 I think. When I first saw a microsoft PC I thought it was so cool that it had two mouse buttons, only to be disapointed by Windows lack of power and that computer grinded to a hault. Now have 3 PCs, 1 XP machine, 1 Vista machine, 1 Mandriva Linux 2008 free machine, I also have a MacG3, about 4th hand O_o The shell of G3s are worth a lot of money so I might build a super computer into the shell when I am older. My brother uses iBooks and now Mac Books, I have noticed how the intel chip has lowered the power and raised the risk of crashing on a Mac. Power Macs are much better, but compatibility is horrible. I usually disagree with common interests if you get what I mean, when I was younger everyone loved Pokemon, but I thought it was way too unrealistic, it was very childish, and the Pokemon storylines in the cartoons were ridiculous. I actually prefer Digimon, which before anyone says it, came out before Pokemon did. Everyone said that Pokemon came out first, but they are wrong, Digimon came out before Pokemon with the basic Digimon Pet concept, which was a form of Tamagotchi for boys, it was released in 1997 around the world as the complete Digimon Pet. I also think Sonic is better than Mario, everyone buys Mario games, actually I have more Mario games than Sonic games myself, but the character Sonic in comparison to Mario is much stronger and definately faster and cooler. What is so cool about an Italian plummer!??!? I get annoyed when people are ignorant about technology when they use it. When someone uses an iPod I get annoyed when they say they don't care about how it works, but if you don't know how it works then I think you shouldn't be using it for safety reasons when in the future robots are invented but people don't know how they work so they let them destroy the world. I also get annoyed when people say PCs are better than Macs, they may have their points and arguments but they are always focusing on the surface of the computer, the way it is made underneath and the history behind the OS and the CPU defines what the computer has now become so I think that Macs are much better than PCs because they marketted the GUI first and aimed their target audience at the common person, in the 80s Macs were for houses and other computers were for technicians and the lot. Mac dominated the computer market until Windows95 was released, 95 I think copied the GUI of a Mac but the law costs brought Apple down so they couldn't fight their case anymore. 95 had MS office so lots of people bought it and now everyone thinks PCs are better but I don't think so. Before anyone says I am being biased; I use PCs a lot more than Macs, if you add up every minute I've spent on a computer, PC will have 75% of the time. Girls say I am sweet and fair, boys say I am cool. I always compliment girls for any reason and it makes them be nice to me which I like because girls hold a better conversation than boys who always talk about football then start punching each other which I don't like because I don't do fighting. In the school I was in before the one I am at now everyone called me a freak and bullied me for no reason, now I know I have asperges I feel I know why, it wasn't my fault and they were being prejudice to me because I can't help being asperges. I don't get bullied at the school I am at now, I learnt how to not let them pick on me. Before I was told i was asperges I was dyspraxic (When I told someone because they asked what was wrong with my they said "What is that?" and the boy next to them said "It's people who can't spell dyslexic" and I laughed) and when I got in trouble at school last year for taking advantage of an abandoned hard drive and installing Tactical Ops and other games onto it the deputy head teacher took me into her office and phoned my mother, she said infront of me to my mother: "I have noticed that your son acts strangely, is there something wrong with him?" I was very offended that she said this infront of me because I have been trying to overcome dyspraxia and I do not use it as an excuse for anything I do. The deputy head, who was very angry with me and shouting at me and being unfair to me, suddenly went quiet when she heard from my mother that I was dyspraxic, in a fit of regret for being so cruel to me a few minutes before she lowered her tone to something more patronising and asking if I am okay and if life is fine for me. She left my school now and that is good. Imagine what she would have said if we knew I was asperges then and my mother told her that over the phone, I think she would have got me chocolate, said sorry for causing me trouble and let me go on with my day as normal! I am very sorry for my life essay, I just get carried away, if you read any of that and saw anything we share an interest in, then please say! If you disagree with anything I typed above then...Keep quiet about it! Hehe, just kidding. Everyone is allowed an opinion.
