ok for 10 months i have been involved in an ombudsman complaints case and because the LEA has backed out of the tribunial the ombudsman has now decided that they are finding the council guilty they are issuing the LEA with a set compansation amount to pay to me omg everything is all finishing all at once and i am winning all of them too what is happening ???????????? just got the desigon off the governors of the school to come back now and all is finished lets hope i win that one too to make 3 in a row

yep there are so many things that we could all agree to here but the biggest and most important one is our children i am not strong just very very stubborn and read every little thing i can get my hands one to see how and where i stood i think i know every word in the SEN code of practice now lol and they hated it when i quoted areas of it too the other thing that has helped me in this year of hell is i have taken the LEA all the way to the ombudsman and that is now looking like a high court judgement on them as they have breached and broken so many rule policies and proceedures that they are stuffed in every way i have also taken the school that they were fitting for threw the governors and they are not happy that law breaking things have happened and my sons life was put at risk so all in all i have cover my back, front, top and bottom fully and they couldn't do anything to break my evidence the one thing they hoped would go in their favour was the independant ep report and much to their discust it backed me up and proved how much damage they had done to my son in this last year my advice to all is too make sure you know your facts and always stick to the facts get everything you can to back you up and read all the SEN code of practice and laws that should be followed if your case is water tight they will not like being made fools of still in disbeilf here but i do have all the working documents of the statement and as it is so close to the tribunial they have to send a copy to sendist to prove they have done what they have said they have lol fools

hi there been a while ok we were going to tribunial on tuesday next week so all the paper work in place reading up to get ready for it and suddlenly my phone wouldn't stop ringing the LEA has backed out and given me everything i wanted with out going to tribunial, they are writting up the statement to what i agreed to and naming the school i wanted too they are also letting me call the shots with how we get Emlyn back into school how long it will take everything just sorting out the funding for the tutor to stay on the help him threw this till he is ready to go it alone we think that getting him back into school full time will take at least 3 month may be longer but we are now moving forwards after a year of hell and him lossing a year of schooling basically they backed out cos my case was water tight and they didnt have a leg to stand on lol so so happy

i am very open with my boys too and the health visitor found that out to her embaressment lol my youngest came done stairs whilst the health visitor was at the house and produced and panti liner stating i"t like a plane but planes dont like blood" and "a tampon makes a brill boat but drinks the water " health visitor went bright red and walked out never saw her again i was wetting myself laughing

ah that sounds bliss must show this thread to my other half hint hint lol he is off on sunday for a month on a course due to him finishing the army in december so got all the meetings to do alone now and my youngest plays up when he is away he hates him being on tour or courses

well all i have time to read at the mo is:- EP reports, SALT reports, case statement, statement changes, forms coming through my door for CAMHS, O/T and so on oh and more school letters every day from my other little man and his hospital letters too and i am a site manager on a motor bike forum and i write up all the how to machanical guides so not much time for reading for pleasure

lol sorry not a funny subject but we are all saying and doing the same all the time lol emlyn's sleep has just started to take a turn for the worse again home schooling he loves it but everything different does this to him so we are now back down to around 4 hours a night and screaming sessions every night lol

hi there we are at the end of being in the army steve is finishing his last of his 22 year stint he has different views to me but i do understand this fully in combat sorry to say but you need your full facitalies about you the others in your regiment really dont need extra pressure knowing they have to make sure one person has understood. if we had taken a house on camp we would have been given a 3 bed one room each as we have another 2 children that join us every holidays so 6 in a 3 bed most times also the the army could have supported me in the educational side that i am and have been facing allown for the last year, but as steve is coming out on the 1st of december then we decided to be here where we are it is 25 miles from camp we are will in army land as in wiltshire there are camps every where but i would have had loads of support from them and had no problems at all with emlyn's education emlyn is army mad and all his room is full of army gear kit and toys he really wants to join the armty when he is older but we know the facts of this we are when he is 12 going to send him to army cadetts to see how he gets on with that type of situation but will have to wait till then

hi there emlyn has just started his home education after months of asking for something finally he has an hour a day 4 days a week now better than nothing. the tutor has already said that he is work around a 3 to 4 year old level so 7 years behind she has also said that she is going to run some test over next week to see had bad things are as he is no where near the level that the education said he was told her i am not surprised said this would happen if the education refused to educate him so all proof for my appeal hearing in october the LA are quickly starting to look like vindictive fouls with the evidence i have now got and is coming in on a daily bases

emlyn has been to CAMHS behavioural charts, treats, star rewards things taken off him the lot nothing seems to work he just keeps doing it don't stress over what out siders say about your parenting skills they only say things cos thier world is black and white ours is full of colours and various shades of them. !!!!!! like to see them cope for a week then let them preach about what your doing wrong lol they will be dead on thier feet after 24 hours and look like fouls

i look back when he only slept a few hours a night and i do think how am i still standing here today the doc's just keep saying he will grow out of it they have said that for the past 6 years and i am still waiting and waiting and waiting

lol toilet now thats all 3 men in this house lol 2 kids one male ummm i call it the reading room as they live in there he has a rutien but still messing around we have a night light with dimmer on as he wont sleep with out it on anf he has mr cuddles, big bear, and brown bear they all protect him from japs ??????? ( he is army mad) he is still up now woundering around doing the 50 times a night toilet thing and thats an hour and half now oh well.........

sleep all night OMG now that would be lovely lol forgotten that one he has got better he used to only sleep 2 hours a night so he is up to 5 now so maybe by the time he is 18 he may sleep all night lol only 8 more years to go lol

complex yes that he is this county has nothing for children under 11 so when it comes to emlyn in his last 13 months of primary they cant cope and will do everything to dump him for whats left of his time in year 5 and 6 after then we will be laughing as they have schhols for him so not a problem even thou they still have not sorted out that either which they should have done already had an independant EP done this week and even thou i knew he had gone backwards it was still hard to see it in black and white knowing that because he has been out of school for 10 months he is now back to pre school levels again the nice thing the EP sai thou is that he would hold a job down when he was an adult but it would be a pratical one where small wages and small steps were taken but thats something

every night we have the same fight getting emlyn to bed one he is not tired two it's not dark even when it is 3 he makes him self ill to get to stay up 10 mins later he does every trick in the book and most night he will not be asleep till 12 mid night later on some occassions to top it off he will never sleep in and is up around 5.30 to 6.30 every morning he just dont know how to sleep or even when he is tired never stops any ideas as we have tried everything to make things easier but still its a fight to get him to bed at night

hi there it is for part 2, 3 and 4 one they have even written the facts about emlyn's conditions and problems in part two two they have edited the objectives from the statement i came into county with and deleted out severe needs so it only says moderate now and the objectives dont meet his needs either there are no hours nothing and part 2 and 3 do not match up to the same child they have written about 3 the school they have named there is no way on this earth emlyn will go there as they left he for 3 days in a year 5 classroom with no support and he blew turned violent everything and that school are saying none of it happened he was in a special needs school where we were before and they said he will never return back to mainstream as he is far too needy for that type of schooling but this county want him in mainstream so i am fighting for a special needs school that is 10 miles away but in another county all the help i can get would be brill as i am not allowed anybody there for me at the appeal the LA has told all the independant people not to go so i am on my own against them

well finally got the date from SENDIST for the appeal now it is 21 october at 10 am exactly one year since emlyn has been to school. just cost me 15.00 notes to send my case statement today but emlyn is worth it took me 3 days to get all the files sorted and make up the statement but finished now and ready for the case statement off the LA will get that after the 17th of july so not long to know what they are going to say finally got an hour a day tutition at home for emlyn also had an independant EP done yesturday and it comfirmed what i thought he is at the lowest end of MLD walking a very thin line going over to severe needs so he has regressed back to the same levels he was in 2004 not good news but i already thort it was the case so not surprised at all ombudsman has now said they are making a desgion about my complaint on the LA so will have that also soon but that is looking hopefull as another case exactly the same as mine was won by the parents a few months ago lots happening not enough hours in the day

OMG i just make it into the old rules as our hearing is the 21st of OCTOBER omg pee'd my pants reading that what a load of rubbish what are they trying to do our lifes are hard enough as it is why do this to the only rights we got

hi there i went to DLA appeal it was over in 2 minutes they had read the paper work and evidence before i went so when i got in there the clerk said to sit down and all will be fine they won't eat you lol had a massive file of paper work i sent then so i couls fight back and got in there they asked me to sit down and said you have been awarded high rare living A and low Dis till emlyn is 12 then we will look again at it OMG SHOCK I SAID NOTHING then they told me it was going to be back dated 13 months OMG BIGGER SHOCK then said they had repremanded the system saying all they had to do was read the medical reports they clearly state it all so i got so wound up over nothing in the end and it was a really friendly hearing but i was told NEVER take the child with you as it clearly is not something that the child needs to attend whats so ever

i am wary too of them now after this one i got so i would say the same go to the one you would like to go to not the one they say to go at the end of the day your friends are at the evening ones so thats where your outside support is

yep been there too even thou they don't mean exactly what they say at those times it rips your heart into and knocks you for six when my boy does it now i just say oh ok then if thats how you feel and walk away he normally stands there as if to say WELL! you not going to react ? kids say things and with our children free minds they say exactly what they think with no boundaries at all chin up your little one will love you later and all will be forgotten

yep they think they are came was livid could have done bad things today, oh well just have to stick to my guns and carry on with it all but at thier rate it wont be sorted till november at the earliest so only 14 months of fighting and my son has had no education at all for 14 months either
