hi my son age 6 has had a wii for two years now, and it has improved his coord no end he is very good on it , he also will take turns with peeps just as long as they dont go out of turn or have more gos than allowed but over all i think it has been a good thing for him, he has been obsessed with game consoles since an early age, and they are the only things he will play with, we have to monitor his intake with some games ie wwe he is only allowed 5 games a day on this because it makes him jig about to much and he lets me know when he has had 5 gos and turns it off. he can become a bit upset when he is losing but we just refuse to play with him if he has a strope and when he has calmed down will say sorry and play nice again. theresa xx

hi stella it will be with primary school kids, infants and juniors and it is going to cost between �305/�680 depending on who you take the course with, so it is a bit ochhhee but im sure it would be worth it to do something that you know you would love doing, it has all started because ds school has ok me going in to help with one on one with him until we get our dx, that is if he will work for me which we all think is a no no, that is when the other teacher asked if i would like to do reading recovery with her, i am looking forward to it, thanks for your help and advise and look forward to hereing from you after hol hope you have a good half term. theresa xx

hi peaches i would defo recommend not to take your lad if he is sensitive to noise, my little had compelte meltdown in there, he may be a bit better now as he is a bit older but would rather not put him in that situation again, takecare theresa xx

hi i am after some advise i am thinking of changing my career and i am looking at t/a at mo, i am going to be a book buddy at my ds school after hols, i will be going in straight from my admin job, which will only give me an 1 1/2 a day, but one of the teachers has asked if i would like to do reading recovery program with her, i have looked at the aset level 2 in t/a course do you recommend i do this course, i can do it from home via an online service, but wonder if this course is recognised, i am having my crb check done at mo, any advise would be great. many thanks theresa xx

hi rq just looked at this and it is realy good, i was in the same store this morning and they do have some great stuff in at mo, i dont know what to get g for xmas he is only into wwe and because he has been into that for so long he has it all to do with it, he did ask us for a laptop the other day so that may be an option, he is only 6 and i love to see him opening prezzys it was the 1st time last yr that he showed an interest at all and opened all his stuff, it took till after lunch, but if i get him laptop it wont leave a lot for anything else, dont know what to do yet still got loads of time left (she says) arrrrr theresaxx

hi westie that is great news for me, i will be going to the launch at magna, will not be taking ds because he cannot take magna last time we went they gave us money back due to him being extremly stressed, noise level and darkness for to uch for him, thanks for the info theresa xx

hi peaches we have just been refered to psychologist this week they are saying it will be a good 3 mths b4 we get an appointment, we had a lady come out to us on monday who does the first assesment they are from spar/steps and then they appoint you to the correct people,she did sugest ds had as, which we new anyway, but no mention of taking relatives along, but we have to wait to get it in writing from them,i do tend to agree with you about taking the little ones with you it could well turn into a nitemare, i hope all gos well for you and your family next wk,please let us know how you get on, can you phone them in the meantime and ask about who to take with you, goodluck <'> take care theresaxx
