    Real life..

I watched it and yes they do seem to go by how the parents were doing things mainly the mum, I must say my eldest who has ADHD gets like him alot, violent outbursts at the drop of a hat! Also the emotional crying side. which can also happen anytime. The trouble is the younger one is getting the same, he is 5 and i say has Aspergers, and just trying him to get to read his book i get attacked! But oabout the programme last night, they looked at how violent the boy was towards his family and the onyl way to calm him down was to hold him down on the floor! which we have had to do . However they didnt show his interests and the things he was good at, he did say he didnt like being violent so whether there is somethign like a volcano that just causes him to errupt i dont know illy
  3. Yes i saw it, and brought it home to me as my Eldest has ADHD, and that is how his behaviour is, most of the time even on medicatioin. It is tough and both boys are very aggressive, so get it by two of them Hugs illy

  5. Oh yes i am new here and have jsut ben gven this section by one of the members My Son is exactly like that, they see him as angel at school with no obsessions etc. However when i take him in, the children have to put there lunchboxes on a rack and he always has to ahve his on the top shelf, if there is no room we have to move boxes!. Also this first week back he has gone in the class and had to go straight to where the books are even if he doesnt look at it, he has to go there! he told me on the first day that he hadnt swore or thumped and i think they had gone over the School and Class Rules, 5 mins down the road he said the F word to me 5 times, and he is only five!! The Ed Psych and Senco cant see anything wrong with him either and although i think he gets 7 hours a week help but not one to one and some of this is took with toileting he doesnt get enough help! They say they have to wait till he is atleast 2 years behind which according to the psych he is in a few things i see more at home, and a few things he is advanced in like Puzzles which they keep testing him on! lol Anyway i hink i have gone on long enough Thanks for listening Hugs illy x

    New Here !

Thankyou for your replies, he has had two Paediatricians, one who retired and then we had a woman, who he never liked, and we missed two appointments, one i cancelled due to someting else going on, and then she cancelled, so i phoned during the school hols to see when we would be having the appointment and i was told that she had left 9 months ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well anyway we have apparently been assigned a new Paed, and it is the same one my eldest boy sees. But i havnt heard anything from him yet, to confirm this! As for the senco well she is an arrogant woman who only sees people with dissabilities if they have a hearing aid walking stick etc you get the picture. The Ed PSych isnt apparently knowledgable in ASD's, he did say he was going to get the Senior Ed Psych to call round with a questionnaire, where i shall show him the results of the ones i did online! With my sons fear of noises, lining up and not being able to interact, and his rigidty of things i would say it is just more than him being a boy! and wanting attention! lol Thanks again for the replies Hugs illy x
  7. Hi My name is illy and i have just joinded your group on a recomendation from a good friend Darky i know who thought i would be interested in this group Anyway i have 3 children, 11 year old ADHD son, 5 year old son who has i believe Aspergers and dyspraxia, and a 1 year old girl who is extreamly active! Anyway, the problem is School and Ed Psych dont think he has Aspergers, as he can keep his cool at school, common problem i hear you all shout, lol At home he is aggressive, swears, likes order, lines almosst everything up, plays in silence, hates noises and covers his ears, watches the same thing over and over again, and it has to be in the same place each time. He would rather play on his own and if his sister or brother come anywhere near him while he is playing he goes ballistic. Anyway that is a short introduction into my not so quiet life, lol Hope to get some advice soon Hugs illy xx
