hi I just wanted to say that we are going through a similar thing well m has been like this for a very long time. he often says things like "i'm stupid" and hits himself. and if he can't get his own way he will thump,hit or kick and break things or throw stuff! it is tiring isn't it? it was horrible when he was in mainstream school as they really didn't understand him he is now in special school and things are loads better. I always talked to the teachers in his old school I felt like I was always going into that school. as for homework he would just throw it in the bin. I hope the teachers start to understand your son soon!!

No not yet, we usually do it by march/april time!! you will have to tell where abouts etc tonight baggy! we went to cornwall last year not far from bude, beautiful place!! if we don't go abroad it will definetly be down that way again!! I love the colour of the sea and place is just lovely!! we tend to stay in a cottage though.

Can I come too!!!! for those that are scared of teesside park, it ain't that bad honest!! I drove there 2 weeks after passing my driving test a few years ago, I was fine. I suppose I am the nearest to there being about 10mins if that! I now pop there all the time. what are we going to see???? we took the kids to see enchanted on new years day up at the silverlink nr whitley bay, was really funny!!

Hi Not sure what you could do really, I know they are very strict on photos and what size your face should be also the background needs to be white. we did go to one of those booths in the supermarket which worked out well, it wasn't that bad really!

Matthew has been very much like your son alot lately. just the disruption with christmas etc, it really throws him out! he gets like this when he can't control or express his feelings. the night before going back to school was awful, he ended up in tears and wouldn't calm down. eventually we managed to get it out of him that he doesn't like it on the bus when everyone's talking as it anoys him!

Hi Computers seem to rule this household, it quite often does my head in. but then the house is much quieter when he is on it, if he isn't then he goes wild, hyper loud and breaks/wrecks stuff so I would much rather he be on it. it is either the lap top, 2 choices of pc, ps2 or the old playstation and now his ds lite.

Hi Matthew was always small for his age, well until now that is, he is 7 and seems to be catching up with is peers at last. when he was smaller he was on the 9th and 25th centile (can't remember which way round weight height wise though)

Hi not sure really, all children are different even with asd and their understanding can be so different. when I had my third M (AS) was only just over 3 so I didn't really have to explain too much although he understood very well anyway. (he used to call my bump 'the egg' lol) sorry haven't been much help.

Hi Matthew's fav and one he would only use was the berry sparkle from asda and they only went and stopped making it!!!! he went ballistic when I told him!!grrr I searched for something similar, found another brand in asda still but it seemed to be the closed match, more expensive though! to the other question,he does like strawberry but I am not sure he would like it without the sparkle lol.
