I just heard this on the radio news, then looked at the BBC link you provided - Horrified.....I thought to detain under the mental health act 2 doctors had to sign the form !!!! Lets hope this opens the eyes of the people in charge

I don't want to complain but I'd feel a lot more comfortable here if you could turn off the Cheeky Girls and put a bit of Neil Young On....More cider anyone !

Hello, I'm Dave. My 8 year old son Jake finally got DX for AS 2 months ago, he came to live with me 3 years ago after my ex wife couldn't handle his behavour any more. Like many of you I struggled with CAMHS to get the DX, but now no longer feel like a 'bad parent' I just look forward to trying to get some more support and a better understanding of AS so Jake can grow up as happy and secure as possible. I hope to be spending a lot of time reading the posts on the forum. - Sorry about the spelling I have Dyslexia
