lancelot Report post Posted November 16, 2006 and C is utterly in love with it! DH is a bit shellshocked at the size of pen, though -- think he was confusing GPs with hamsters when he agreed to it. Now why isn't there a guinea pig smilie? Needed some light relief after weeks of trying to make secondary school decision (aaaaaaaaaaaargghhhh) L xx

Kathryn Report post Posted November 16, 2006 I was thinking "doctor with irritating voice". I hope he/she settles in soon. Who gets to clean out the pen? K x

Devon mum Report post Posted November 16, 2006 I hope i'm not the only one who was thinking GP as in Doctor.. No you aren't I was wondering what a squeaky sort of GP specialised in myself! Yup I also am in need of more sleep.
lancelot Report post Posted November 17, 2006 Hmmm, sorry for confusing everybody! Still, maybe this kind of GP would be more use to some of us than the other sort? He/she (the vet can't tell which, and neither can I) is living in the lap of luxury and in danger of becoming very spoilt. Middle child has offered to be Chief Cleaner-Upper this week... we shall see
TheNeil Report post Posted November 17, 2006 Well I for one immediately linked 'GP' with Guinea Pig. Have you thought of a name for him/her yet? I'd offser suggestions but given the names of my two I'd probably best not - maybe you should run a baddad style competition on the forum...or, then again, maybe not... And just give it a couple of months and your little squeaky thing will have grown into a big squeaky thing

And just give it a couple of months and your little squeaky thing will have grown into a big squeaky thing Oh yes a GP naming compo (just dont ask me to judge). I think he should be called Pegasus, Shadowfax or maybe Binky I had 2 GPs imaginatively named Bubbles and Squeaks. Sadly that was many years ago and they've both scampered off their mortal coil now. I'd get more but I hated the cleaning. SV
