I've had the christmassy touches to my avatar up since last christmas! I liked them so left them there.

Anyway, I've done nearly all my christmas shopping... being buying bits since beginning of september.

I love humbugs... especially the little sripey ones you get in a black and white tin.. can't remember what you call them.

I've seen a Christmas tree in someone's house already - as I walked past the window they were decorating it. And our local supermarket has the most disgusting decorations I've ever seen, gold Christmas trees with bright pink and purple baubles.

We LOVE Christmas in this house!

First Sunday of Advent next week, light the first candle on the Advent wreath.

St Nicholas Feastday on the 6th.

Baking stuff and making yummy things to eat...don't tell me you avoid that bit BD!

We decorate the tree on Midwinter's Day, 21st.

Planting all sorts of bulbs to flower through the winter in the house.

Presentswapping day on the Saturday before Xmas when all the random members of the family gather from all over to meet before the holiday. Most of us spend Xmas at home, so we meet and celebrate before.

Boxing Day is Grandparent Day, they come over for handmade prezzies and cards to tell them how wonderful and loved they are.

We love Christmas, even OH smiles occasionally when watching the fun.

My Grandad had one, he was 93 and used it right up to the last!

Old people feel the cold, even if they're well-padded themselves.

Take care of yourself BD, wrap up warm. >:D<<'>

"What a drag it is getting old..."

You don't?

No, I've heard the memory goes as well
