I like Rolf Harris. I especially like his paintings too. They look so good but he makes it look so easy

I missed this David - I haven't looked at his paintings , thanks for that I will look out for his work next time I visit the Art Gallery. Some of the best painting's were done in less than half an hour. Check out the art magazines at the newsagent - full of them. Mainly using scalples and huge brushes. Lots of mess - lots of fun, put plenty of plastic on the floor!

:D love the cartoons - imaginations running wild. My favourites are all 90's plus Aladdin, Lion King, Beauty and the beast, Pocohonta's, Prince of Egypt with all the latest mix of graphics and music but when I was young I loved all the girly ones like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jungle Book, Robin Hood all the Disney stuff.

All the best

Can't find any videos of him doing paintings (he used to do some really quickly for TV) though I guess the ones featured above he spent some time over.

This is on my obsessive listening loop at the mo...makes me :tearful::clap:

I'm just getting into the album...I'm lurving the retro feel :shame::dance:

Boho

Auriel has just said he doesn't laike the album...'it contains none of the catchy riffs or inventive melodies that made the first album a true success'!! :o:lol:

Sadly, he's really squinty and no bigger than my thumb (J. Blunt, not Auriel) :crying::shame:

Very emotive :) Oops I'm not supposed to be here. Here's one last song for the road.

Loved all those songs SV Bid BD Mandy and David I love the song 'Transformation' and all the links with it 'Brave Bear' definitely buying the DVD awesome. Oh well, here's one of my very favourite songs - I still remember the first time I heard it. I was driving home from Queensland to Sydney with one of those giant sunsets beaming down on me, and this awesome song just lifted my spirits. :D Amazing isn't how a song can lift you up or bring you down. But it's all good. Food for the soul...!

>:D<<'>

From an Aussie by a very awesome Aussie 'that's me' no just kidding - its my favourite Aussie Diva 'Delta'

Hope you keep this thread alive - I might just visit from time to time to throw a coin in the jukebox.

this one I give 5/10

Keep smiling.... :D

Love

I actually saw Chuck Berry play in 1984, in Watford of all places!:clap:

(And I wore a garjuss indian dress I got in the Portobello road, which was purple, deep v-neckline, cut high under the bust, with fringing round the hem and the edges of the bell sleeves :clap: And really high heel slouchy boots  )

Boho

Jeez...just realised that was 24 years ago!! :crying::crying::crying:

That must have been the closing leg of the 'My Ding -A- Ling tour'... (the bell sleeves were a bit of a giveaway)

Just got to thinking that I'm amazed this guy didn't show up yet!

Not a particular fan myself, but still quite shocked he hadn't shown up earlier!

Yep - I was listening to it in the car today too, and i have to admit that 'filler' comment I made was completely wrong! A case of wrong mood or wrong environment, but definitely sounds good on the road...

Similar thing with ADSR by this lot:

Listened indoors and so/so... in the car it's a very different kettle of fish!
