phoebe_monkey Report post Posted April 26, 2009 Hi. My name's Phoebe, I'm from Scotland and I'm 21. Last year I was dx with social anxiety disorder, but my counsellor and psych think I might be on the autistic spectrum, so I'm being assessed for aspergers/hfa at the beginning of June. I've been a playscheme carer for kids with autism for 5 years and now also work as a support worker for children with lots of different disabilities, as well as autism. Also had to write several assignments on asd at uni (I studied primary teaching, but had to leave the course early because I couldn't cope with the social demands of placements).
