BusyLizzie100 Report post Posted July 1, 2011 DS1's school is an academy as from today, 1 July. Does anyone if it's possible to read the funding agreement online? Do we, as parents have access? Lizzie
Kathryn Report post Posted July 2, 2011 Blimey, that's quick! Give it a year and all the schools in this town will have gone the same way. If the FA is not on the school website, you can find it in the Academies section of the Department for Education site where they are all listed in alphabetical order. It's possible that new Academies won't be up there yet but there's an email address to contact the D of E for a copy. I'd send you a link but I'm writing this from my IPod and I haven't worked out how to do that, so will look later. The SEN information will be in Annex B or C right at the end. KezT Report post Posted July 3, 2011 hmmm, they obviously take a whil to get put up on there - the school I work at isn't on there yet and we converted on 1st June this year. Even as a staff member I haven't seen or been given any info about the funding arrangement
Special_talent123 Report post Posted July 3, 2011 This has been explained to me, that if say the special school i used to go there standards are of excellence in all areas, then they can become an academy, but will still will remain a special school
