You will get support to help you prepare for suitable work. In return, you will receive a work-related activity component in addition to your basic rate. Customers are not required to attend the Work-Focused Interview (WFI) until it’s been confirmed that they’ve been placed in the Work-Related Activity Group." trekster Report post Posted March 26, 2012 then there is some documents about government legislation changes to 2012 Reading that at the moment, it references ESA C which means contributions ie people whose income is too high or have paid enough national insurance contributions will be affected. Your friend is likely to be on the other form of ESA IR (income related). Was she on income support before she got moved onto ESA? If so she will definitely be on ESA IR and so not affected.
