Kathryn Report post Posted October 7, 2005 Mark Haddon has just published a book of poetry and is at the Cheltenham festival apparently. I was just in time to catch this item, thanks to this thread. Just a short item, but any publicity about ASD, especially on the main BBC news is very welcome. Perhaps Mark Haddon is just the person we need as the figurehead for a campaign? nellie Report post Posted October 7, 2005 Carole, I have just listened to the tape again and at no time does he say he has autism. He does say " I am more confident now. I am not living with a long term unfulfilled ambition that was driving me crazy". Maybe she heard 'living with a long term' and thought he meant autism.
