Diagnosis in London

Wonder if any one can help, I have asked my GP for a referral for a diagnosis for AS and I am looking for someone in the London area to be referrred to.

Does any one have any experience good or bad, of diagnosis services for AS in adults in London area?

Welcome to the forum

 

I'm in West London, but only have experience of child AS diagnosis. If you give the National Autistic Society http://www.nas.org.uk/ a call, they should be able to give you the names of specialists in London that would be able to help you.

 

There are quite a few adults on the forum that are going through/have been through the diagnosis process, so hopefully somebody here may be able to recommend someone as well.

Just wanted to say welcome to the forum.I am an adult with suspected as although i do not have a diagnosis.I am not sure about places in london for diagnosis but I do know there are lots of online tests you can take that have been posted on here.Theses tests are just a guidline though and are not designed to be used as a diagnosis.

Thansk for your welcome(s), I have got a list from NAS, was trying to narrow it down. Will cross reference it with the one from nellie and pick the one(s?) on both.

My friend had her son's 2nd diagnosis at ******* and said it was good - his initial one was at **********, where my son was also diagnosed. I note that you have been given the full list but I thought you might like a recommendation too.
