bid Report post Posted May 16, 2006 Hi all, A few weeks ago I found a down-loadable AS t-shirt design, but I can't remember where (it isn't where I thought it was just now ). I was just wondering if anyone recognises it, and could post a link, please It was a cartoony woman, rainbowy colours, and the slogan 'Spectrum Babe (or Chick??)'. I have dogpiled, but got a gazillion results Sorry for the odd request, it's just that I really wanted to print up a vest-top for the summer Thanks in advance <'> Boho
Flora Report post Posted May 16, 2006 bid Why bother with a t-shirt? You could just go and get another tattoo Lauren x
littlenemo Report post Posted May 16, 2006 I don't know if one of these is what you saw: Cafepress.com But they've got some cool designs (everything from 'I heart someone with Asperger's' to 'In memory of the autistic people murdered in the name of treatment F@*% YOUR CURE!' good luck nemo

bid Report post Posted May 16, 2006 Some fabby designs, Nemo, but not my Spectrum girly! Thanks so much, though...really worth a look! Boho
baddad Report post Posted May 16, 2006 Thanks for the links you'se two... Given that awful 'naughty' thread, there are some AMAZINGLY good designs on these pages (though some bad'uns too - first site should be a little more selective!) From a quick browse, I liked the cute little cat one, the 'STIMS' and the Olympic spinning team... Nothing works better than humour, IMHO, for getting across a serious message... bid Report post Posted May 16, 2006 Woo Hoo, Zem you're brill...that's exactly the one!! Somehow I missed your post earlier Thank you, thank you!! Now I've just got to get some t-shirt transfer paper and a white vest-top, and I'm away!! Boho

littlenemo Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Groovy image! I don't want to poo on your parade, bid, but be aware of the size of the image. It's 197 pixels high On screen (at 72 dots per inch) it's 2.5 inches high On your printer (at 300 dots per inch) it's 0.65 inches high As it's for printing onto a t-shirt 100 dpi should be about the lowest you can go So any bigger than 2 inches and it will look fuzzy Your printer may be able to compensate to some degree, so try a test print before you buy any tshirt paper Unless you want it to look pixelated and retro, but that's a different process good luck nemo (with his boring ex T-shirt printer head on)
bid Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Do you mean I've got to be discreet?? But I wanted it BIG, and I was going to add sequins and teeny beads!! Nemo, is there any way I can get it bigger, please?? Boho
littlenemo Report post Posted May 17, 2006 If you've tried printing out a big version and don't like it, there are at least 3 possible solutions: 1) Contact aspiesforfreedom and see if they have a larger version (though it looks as if that's the original size); 2) Contact me and see if I can do a big pixelated version; 3) Contact someone who can draw and get them to redraw it bigger. good luck nemo
phasmid Report post Posted May 17, 2006 (edited) I loved the: 'It's not a disabled dog...it's a cat' design. That caused real tears of laughter when I saw it! Edited May 17, 2006 by phasmid
