  1. I hate to say it, but autistic/aspergers students are unlikely to come. A lot of guys won't appreciate swanky catchy names in the same way ordinary students might. What you need to do is get the disability office to arrange something, and get them to get onto the various autistic students, and advertise, and try and get them to come along.
  2. When I get really stressed, I get physically very ill and sometimes have panic attacks.
  3. Aspergers doesn't exist/is the new ADD.
  4. Okay, turns out I do have Hypermobility, was at the physio today. What is the related between Hypermobility and Autism/Aspregers and how do I cope with it? I have 15' more freedom than I should in most of my joints.
  5. I know, but bring it up and you're BUTTHURT. It's great when you have a word that can defend absolutely anything you can do to another person. ED is a spinoff of 4chan but 4chan hates ED. moot actually commented at a recent con a couple of days ago that he hates it when random people ruin people's lives for no reason.
  6. Most people online believe it's a made up disease. Blame the pathetic wastes of space at Encyclopedia Dramatica who've nothing better to do than pick on people who probably aren't any less social than them anyway and write it off as a "parody"(apparently stalking people and posting a link to every forum they're on is a "Parody").
  7. To be fair, you don't need a good IQ for grades. See my other thread on intelligence I made a couple of days ago.
  8. I'm 21 and I have loads of toys... I just got a Haro that doesn't work ;_; He's meant to flap his ears and he doesn't.
  9. I'm 134 and I'm in the 99th percentile :/
  10. This was posted on 4chan's r9k board. "Why can't intelligent people be forced into studying? From my observations, the smart people in learning institutions (schools etc) never work. they just blatantly listen, while the common folk just zerg the study materials, and in the end they out-score the intelligent people. I ask you /r9k/, why don't smart people have any motivation to study?" As someone with Aspergers I find that's how I feel the whole time. I am simply almost completely unable to study.
  11. Advertising :/ I'm pretty sure IQ scales don't even go up that high... there's no exact way of measuring it past 150.
  12. I have panic attacks fairly regularly. It's so embarassing in public. I just want to hide away in a little ball
  13. I'm wondering about this, is this a common problem associated with autism/aspergers and why? It seems odd to have such a physical thing linked with a mental behaviour. My whole left arm is very bad at the moment. It feels constnatly sore and worn out, and the joints click when making several movements. I'm wondering..
  14. People, especially online don't realise that ASDs can lead to this sort of thing. People always love their lines like "Oh just because you have DISABILITY X doesn't mean I have to let you off on everything!" It makes them feel like they're second guessing things and gives them a sense of intelligence where there is none. It's basically people that think they're clever for not being "P.C.". Good to hear progress has been made somewhere.
  15. Well that's a sweet story Image 1 Image2 Hiyori from Kamen Rider Kabuto She's very doll-like. I edited the links so they work properly! - Simon
