hi hedders i dont think it would be a bad thing getting your dd a doll she is only 8 yrs old, and if you did get her prezzies for her own age she will proberly not play with them which would be a shame, i think anything that will stimulate our children will be good, and she will have to take care of it changeing clothes ect, i got my ds who is just 6 a bumblebee transformer last yr and we have not had it out the box since xmas day none of us can put it together but he did ask for it hopefully he will beable to do it when older(cos i have tryed and failed ) so go with what you think would suit her best, takecare theresa x

hi and welcome to the site i have a 6 yr old boy being dx at the moment, i think you will find alot of people on here to speak to, i hope your last year of your degree gos well, i used to work with animals myself me and my husband ran a sanctuary in dorset for 2yrs housing 180 cats 20 horses donkeys pigs birds and yes even ferrets (which were very smelly) we found it a very rewarding job best i have ever had and i have had a lot of jobs, keep us posted on how you are doing take care theresa x

hi and welcome my litttle boy is being dx at moment he was 6 2wks ago and been in mainstream since 3yrs old, he has fitted in fine but has limited freinds but the ta are fab with him. i hope it all gos well for your little one when he starts, good luck theresa x

hi well my ds had juice and coccy biscuts with the head on friday for outstanding work on computor in his class, i was realy chuffed, he got a sticker on the classroom wall also saying how well he had done, it has realy boosted his confidence in school, just thought i would share this bit of good news with you all, at the beginning of the wk we had probs he was sobbing that they were making him do to much writing in his class so i had to have a word with them about this and it has now been sorted so all is going well, but friday realy cheered him up theresa x

it may be an old joke b/d but i havent heard it b4 and must say it made me chuckle i know i am easly pleased. and a big well done at the dentice that realy is the way to lead jsmum you were very brave, i think i must be a bit strange because i like going to the dentice, not so brave this wk i had day surgary on weds and still feel like rubbish and ds is trea,ting me like i have the plauge he is not happy at all, this is the 1st time he has seen me ill, hope the mouth feels better soon and give a hug to ds for looking out for you <'> takecare theresa

hi we have same prob if they call it cheese and tom we sort of sing over them so he cannot hear them it is called a sauce pizza to him and nothing else will do, he eats so little varied food that i cannot afford to lose the sauce pizza, i think peeps think i am barking mad when start singing but hey i will do out to protrct the food he does eat i realy hope that it is true and he will eat better with age, never even tryed a veg. theresa

hi thats great does he know its a veg big well done also you can have a chill if he is going to bed early i had a break through also on fri we went to pizza hut and ds had garlic bread with cheese on god i fell off my chair which he found highly amuzing you feel realy proud when they try somethink different theresa
