    Insomnia

Hi mumble, Thank you very much for introducing me the Mental Health Org. in U.K. I downloaded some and copied to ipod. Mostly, I am lying on the floor, bed for relaxing but I try to sleep but I can't. "Taking a break is good for your mental health and wellbeing. It's important to take some time out to relax." is good for me now? ah.. I don't have any interests... go to shopping, watching movies, music concert and etc. from my childhood. In recently, I just go outside for walking, shopping for meals and coin laundry. i meet my cat where he is living different place once or twice a month. The strong med makes me tired more. So, it is hardly difficult. Thanks for your advice. Goody,

  4. BTW, do we fully trust advice that we get on the net? I only collect many variety of informations on the net and I refer those informations and apply to the real life and situation. The only thing that we should avoid when we advice to others is that psychological approach. In other words, mind-control-like, I think. The important thing is to have the knowledge of making the right decision communicating here and other websites. Well.. this is my understanding and what I've been doing. Goody,

  10. Hi, I have insomnia from childhood and I didn't know that it is associated with Asperger's Syndrome. But now, I've been taking sleeping meds but minor one, called Ledormin in addition to minor tranquilizer. That's enough for me but sometimes in these days, I may need more strong sleeping med. However, considering the side effect having it, like thirsty, sleepy till noon... things like that. So, I keep having the minor one. Regards, <'> Goody,
  11. What is the key point difference between Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. There is a speech delay for Autism but there isn't speech delay in Asperger's Syndrome. Other than is in the myth, I think. So, we call AS as PDD nowadays. Is it correct? Goody, (Yoshi)
  12. Thank you very much for your replying. I have insomnia, depression, anxiety, panic-attack, tantrum(breaking many things and throw away)and functional problem of stomach and bowels..... and many others in associated with Asperger's Syndrome and minor Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Learning Disabilities are okay because I already retired. I don't have a family and I really love living alone. I also have an Internethobia for many years and it will not to be disappeared from my mind. My parents, relatives and friends, all left from myself. However, for me, they are ignorant as well as my physician and other professionals. So, I may be lucky in that sense. Regards, Goody
  13. Hi everyone, As I mentioned about my mental problems in here and my account. I have isomania as we used to have Asperger's Syndrome patient. Its okay. I've been spending a daily life after I retired. I am single and living in Tokyo and no friends and relatives at all. How do I explain my mental and physical conditions to healthy people? People around here including professionals doesn't understand my mental condition at all. I have been exhausted at all. I've been medication but I don't want to have strong meds for the functional problem. People creates making noise which I dislike under the confirmation of professionals and ex-wife. I hear the noise after I go to bed and/or when I wake up middle of the night for going toilet. They may know the dulation of my sleeping meds. I hope this wouldn't be the last posting to here. Would you please give me some advice ? Goody,
  14. Hi Amelia, Well.. the approacy may differ from the conditons. It isn't curable and not disease but functional problem. You and your family member support those and dig out some talent each own we Asperger's Syndrome people have. I think. Sometime in a future, Aspie realize " I am the only person what kind of person, what different from others and what kind of functional problems I have" that would be a goal for us. There is a many bright future for ourselves. No one can refuse or interfere his/her bright future life. In my case, I've been minor Autistic Spectrum, Asperger's Syndorm and LD. I realized those at the age of 49. "Knowing myself" I started that. Goody,
  15. Hi Dee, In my case, I have minor problem for Autistc Spectrum, Asperger's Syndrome. But I had worked over 25 years and it was hard. Now, I know what kind of functional problems that i have. It isn't curable and it continues with my life. The life goes on; How we cope with it. Goody,

  18. Hi everyone, I am new to here, Life goes on with comfortable day-to-day living. I have an Asperger's Syndrome and Learning Disability. LD is minor one but those mental functional problem make me tiredness all the time from early childhood. However, I realized that I had those mental and functional problems at the age of 49 years old and now I am going to 51 this September. I visited doctors but the sad thing is all the doctors and professionals doesn't understand my real mental condition. The reason why is that the time has passed and difficult to trace back my childhood. I think it continues my rest of life affecting day-to-day living live. Some of them in this forum may have same situation like me. I had worked over 25 years at U.S. and North American company but remembering the mental and physical condition, it was apparently hard for me for that. I have tantrum when the stress is accumulated. I broke many computers and communication devices. In addition i don't know what's I am going to do the stress is accumulated. Lots of minor autistic problem i had since early childhood. Nothing has been changed of course. Well... this is real my mental problem and I do hope people around here understand and take me rest. Just give me a chance to live as I want to spend a comfortable life. Goody/signed BTW, I created two accounts and duplicated with Yoshi_ I am asking to Mod to delete Yoshi_ account. So, I am happy to keep in touch with everybody who has similar symptom in here to this account Goody. Please feel free to email me and I am always welcome your advice.
