The best film this year was Charlie and the chocolate factory. Or perhaps it was Corpse bride! Sadly the latter isn't on DVD yet so i can't add it to my burton collection and decide.

Also, is it being said that, no one having met me, the fact that i'm on the spectrum means that i am more vunerable than a normal person? So it is to protect me, yet the under 18s are highlighted from the crowd.

I do belive that there are better places for such people to go, and i do belive that it is somewhat generalising to say that, so could i perhaps make a case, i.e get bid to say other wise and get it un didled?

can't i send PMs to people? and why is my name highlighted? Is it because i am under 18? surely highlighting us is a negative thing?
  11. I just finished the book last night and was about to make a topic on the very same subject...
  12. I haven't seen the program, but funilly enough, to the best of my knowledge, that is what people said about me, hindering access to the support I needed.
  13. so why highlight the under 18s annd my edit button is missing it would seem :'(
  14. Yes, clicking new posts shows you the new posts, but it is more easier to miss them later on. And with cookie deleteing and all sorts, this can be problematic.
  15. Now, i noticed a while back that there have been some changes around here, which will lead the forum downhill! Firstly, the changing of the title to asd-forum.org.uk rather than krism.org.uk Why?! Asd-forum.org.uk is more impersonal, is it to make the forum seem more professional? It gives the forum a lack of personality, and i haven't noticed anything announcing the change of adress, so when the subscription on Krism runs, how man people are going to be able to find us again? Then there is the redesign. What was wrong with the old one. This one is more sharper, the title font more soul-less, unlike the freindly words of the last board. And a seemingly random squidly thing above the words?! WHY! Then there is the main gripe, the adition of the sub forums, some thing to split the community!!!!! I can see the aim is to seperate it into useful groups, but it does something quite the opposite. The average user isn't going to be clicking through all the different forums, all i know is that in the past i only clicked on general discussion, to view the latest three posts. Now i have to view two different forums just to see the three posts that would catch my attention, or scroll down two different pages for any topics with any midly exciting titles. So, the outcome of this is that people will view general discussion and ignore the off topic, splitting them from the batcave attending public. Please, merge the forums back. Was the seperation really nescacary? Did the off topic posts really conflict with the cries for AS related help? There is also this huge influx of rules, posted dictatoresque, towering above it's underlings, the common posts? No images? Has there been any problem with images in the past, are people really that bothered? Again, its now a job of clicking numerous links in a post, hogging valuable desktop space. Not everyone runs firefox. Even the wording of this is harsh. 3. Image posting is disabled and will not be enabled under any circumstances. oops i mean http://www.corante.com/mooreslore/archives/images/stalin.jpg Image posting is disabled, question this posting and you will be SHOT ON SITE NOW LEAVE ME ALONE AND GO TO A MORE FREINDLIER FORUM, is what i get from reading the above. Krism is no longer the freindly slightly unprofessional place that we know and love, but a grey tower of officeblocks. Exageration has been used here, if only to get my displeasure across. There may have been some more points, but i lost them. And yes i am AS and dislike change as a whole, but that doesn't make my points any less valid, thank you very much. Good gravy, i appear to have posted an image!!!!
  16. but i'm not or perhaps i shouldn't have said that
  17. why the change, what was wrong with krism!? asd-forum takes longer to type.
  18. lilme, even if the person is known,it could still be a virus replecating the persons email address, plus it's very easy to forge an email from any address,it is better to be even more careful and only open attatchments that were pre-arranged to be sent,or contact the person and ask them if they sent it. It is being over safe, but windows viruses are increasing, and people who use windows should be extra careful with attatchments. Or alternatively, format hard drive and install a linux operating system (practically virus free) Or Buy a Mac with Mac OSX. At the computer repair place I do work experience at,we had a windows XP based laptop brought in with more than 3000 viruses,trojans,spyware... he had had no anti virus, anti spyware programs or used a software or hardware firewall,I'd never seen anything like it,apart from on sites where people had deliberately downloaded every dodgy item going and put screenshots of the results up. Anyway, save time, money and install linux. or use linux Do you use any linux distros? i tried but i couldn't get the wireless working on SuSe, but it was an old distro so if i'm reformating i might get hold of a later distro.

  20. i belive my post has been misinterpreted, I was referring to the luke jackson book freaks geeks etc, where he states worry that the ignorant media would make similar claims over crime... I had made an assumtion with that post that the majority of the forum users would have read the said book.
  21. what we can't say is whether or not she knows someone with A.S, those i know often use autistic and aspergers as an adjective
