dippy Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Hello everybody, I am new here and have 2 adorable children. They are both boys aged 11 and 4. The 11 year old is NT and the 4 year old is dx ASD. They are both adorable although the 4 year old totally wears me out!! I am just about to go to tribunal for mobility component DLA for my son and am so nervous. JsMum Report post Posted June 7, 2008 hellp dippy, kind of like the name, its rather cute, so hopefully you wont regret it too much as Im sure you will become a regular. Good luck with the tribunal, Its not as bad as your probably thinking, in ours when J was 6 they was the ones who insisted that I get a statement for J at school of which I did, sometimes the panel are very upset when they realise the severity of our childrens lives, So dont worry too much, its just upsetting having to attend, they are stressful but I do understand at the same time why they do them. Ijust wished that the DLA people new how hard it is to claim in the first place, and how low it makes us feel to have to claim in the first place. Anyway as i said good luck.
