llisa32 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 Hiya - I just gotta post so hope no one minds <'> As you know the transition from Y2 to Y3 was incredibly difficult for J and as a result of the difficulties and eventual diagnosis in February J moved into a new form class in Jan and was promised additional support for lessons and exams, and his IEP was expanded. Just got his latest school report and test results and what a HUGE improvement!! At xmas he scored below av for every subject, with no awards or recognition for effort (things got that bad he gave up trying cos his confidence was so knocked) But now...above average for every subject (excluding geography - those that know me will know poor j obs takes after me with this subject! And...a whopping 92% in science and an award for effort in all subjects!!! What a difference a few months makes with adequate support in place - hurrah!
