baddad Report post Posted December 22, 2009 I bought a big bag of peanuts as part of the xmas shop on Saturday and I still haven't opened them! See, who said there's no such thing as magic?

baddad Report post Posted December 23, 2009 A poll - hardest things to leave unopened until Christmas: Peanuts Marzipan... what's yours?
Tally Report post Posted December 23, 2009 I haven't opened any of the cheese. My mum bought a big bag of peanuts and put them in the boot of her car. When she got home she picked them up by the handle and the bottom of the bag gave and now the boot is full of peanuts

Kathryn Report post Posted December 23, 2009 Marzipan - yuk - and I can resist all the chocolate around, but any crisps in the house have only a small chance of survival. And I'm looking at the brandy I bought to put in the mincemeat and thinking an Irish coffee later would be nice. (Except it's French coffee, isn't it, with brandy?) Suze Report post Posted December 24, 2009 ok....coming in at no.1 Pinot grigio...of course 2. cashewnuts 3.mateus rose 4.gourmet sea salt crisps...
baddad Report post Posted December 24, 2009 3.mateus rose I LOVE that mateus rose has made a comeback! Now, do you use the bottle to make a proper table lamp with one of those push-in lampholders or do you just go for the rustic bung-in-a-candle-and-let-the-wax-drip-down-the-side option? Ah the 70's - when wine choices were as straighforward as 'Black or Blue (or Mateus Rose)?' Have a good one - and a glass for me
