My dream job is to work in environmental design on big projects and like all my dreams I am working towards my goals. It is my dream bacause I want to improve the planet and reverse some of the damage we are creating to it. My specialist interest is based around marine and costal sites.

My dream is to have a yacht fitted out to sail both sail single handed and function as a fully sustainable design base. As such i would move my base around the planet going from job to job. I know what yacht would be ideal for this and what the specification would be down to the energy systems and technonlgy on board. I have it all designed and costed in a folder in my office and it is a work in progress.

I want to own and manage a cycling team. Alternatively, I'd like to sail a boat in the Med providing trips for very small groups of tourists.

I always wanted to be a stunt man doing vehicular or stunts involving animals.

Wish I could do it now, but I am a bit old to be throwing myself around in a metal cage going 80mph

I would like to be a professional studio photographer but I'm too old now to start out and what business there is out there is too cut-throat. Also I don't have the requisite social skills to attract/talk to clients etc

Stuff my dream job for a minute. The best job I ever had was as a cleaner at a leisure centre on the seafront. The huge glass windows meant that I could pretty well always see the sea. The best thing, though, was that while I was there it existed within a time and space bubble in which everyone was pleasant to each other, whatever a person's position within the centre. The centre manager was given no more or less respect than me as a cleaner. As employees we could use the gym whenever we wanted, and I eventually taught swimming (very bizarre, considering I can only just about manage two lengths!). I was there for two years from the age of 19. If I could again work in those conditions well within school hours and not during school holidays, and if I could earn enough on that to enable my husband to work less, then that would probably pretty much be my dream job. Sorry, Warrior, if that doesn't fit your ambitious criteria, but if you think about it, the likelihood of all those conditions ever being met are probably less likely than your rocket idea.

i'm know i'm VERY LUCKY and know 'landed on my feet' there somewhat VERY supportive/understanding of my 'needs' even my boss as such can be difficult at times in a nursery environment where busy crowded noisy lots always going on .... nightmare sometimes in AS sensory world can be confusing trying process information which made more difficult /harder due to background noise i'm grateful for 'everything' i have there the acceptance as i know i'm harder work sometimes there and feel like one of the kids .... paranoia i struggle to grasp hold control of and anxiety too!

I have a few dream jobs that for one reason or another I won't be going for and as such they can stay as "dreams" - the reasons for not doing these are in brackets after each option :D

1. Exploring places in the middle of nowhere - especially jungles or mountains (can't stand heat or spiders)

2. Marine exploration/biologist/conservationist - the kind on a boat or going in the water not sitting in a lab (can't swim and have a fear of drowning)

3. Fighter pilot (issues with heights and a fear of flying)

4. Animal conservation somewhere like Africa or Australia (heat and spiders again)

5. Getting a degree in psychology and then a job where I can actually help people - might actually be able to achieve that one - who knows eh?
