Flora Report post Posted December 2, 2005 It's a bit disturbing I thought it was weird to start with, not really sure what that creature is doing to Big Ben ?? !! Now it's even more strange with the addition of the kinky red boots Lauren
Tylers-mum Report post Posted December 3, 2005 OK, am I just tired or am I going doo la lally??? I can't see any Santa, no hat or no red boots! All I can see is 'something' (not sure what it is! littlenemo Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Littlenemo, did it have the booties the same time as the hat? I've only just noticed the booties! Brill!! No, I added the boots later, just to give Phasmid a laugh Tylers mum - umm are you looking at Phasmid's avatar or mine? Phas is the stick insect swaying (if a bit vigourously ) on Big Ben with new bootas and hat. I'm the one in the human cannonball, shortly before it turns into a firework and explodes [it's from a very very early comic strip] Hope that clears up any confusion... nemo
call me jaded Report post Posted December 3, 2005 No hat or boots where I'm sitting, unless they're microscopic? Nemo, I have seen your comic strip somewhere. Is it from Rupert the Bear?

If you can't see them, try clicking 'refresh' on your browser - that should make his winter ensemble appear. Little Nemo in Slumberland was written and drawn by Windsor McKay and syndicated in papers across the States. It started in 1905 and carried on till 1914, was more beautiful and surreal than vrtually any comic since, and was printed in full colour taking up a whole page of broadsheet (that's big newspaper size). Those were the days...
call me jaded Report post Posted December 3, 2005 I'm refreshed! An the stick insect is no longer naked. My next door neigbours came back from a stint in the US and gave us all sorts of things their children had grown out of. I've probably made a 'skateboard' from a book of those cartoons and a roller skate.
