is hyper mobile the same-what my son got told he had. he wore pedro boots and couldnt stand and walk for ages -very behind -he hasnt much strength in his legs or arms at all .

i had it bad -and think it was caused through the epidural i had with my fist son -dr told me it had damaged a nerve-i said id never have one again but alas couldnt bear pain with son number 2 so had another really hurts me some days -ive just made do with ibrufen-and the gel u can get -hot baths- and a while back i was having body massages that gave some relief. its horrid feeling isnt it-in your buttocks and down your legs

hey busylizzie i had to laugh i get that too with the door they think when they r done thats it ......ive been on loo with pants down and my son unlocks the door and opens it and even though iv told him a million times he still runs to undo the lock ,i must be the fastest loo goer in the west i sometimes just manage to pull my zip up before it swings open ......

hi i would not let it bother you what other folk think-personally i use the disabled loos most of time even when i just got my 3 year old with me cause they are bigger and you can get pushchair in them. its your choice about your son regarding feeling that hes ready to use loo on his own my son is nearly 5 and he wants to use the mens-but he always goes and wets himself if im not in loo with him.[we have a few melt downs outside loos as he argues he wants to use mens ect....but wants me in the mens with him ect......which ive now done about 4 times to the horror of a bloke standing at the urinal ] ive got past stage of caring what folk think -you do whats best for yourself honey . i also had same prob getting him to wee standing up [i thought cause i was single mum that he hadnt had chance to see much men doing it ] i had to help him get used to it first by just trying help him do it . i recall a time when we was in a park that had the most horrid loos and there was no way he would use them -as he hates public ones at best of times. i made him wee behind a bush to his horror as he started complaining its not right -but i mean what do ya do he wouldnt go in loo -u just have to do whats best in these situations

hi sarah dont let them make u feel more stressed about getting it sorted as this ends up making u feel worse my son attended play group with nappies on and then moved to another nursery where they didnt like it at all-they put alot pressure on me to sort it out-my son didnt understand the basics of even needing to wee or poo- in the end i sent him in his underpants knowing full well he would wet them -so i let them deal with it as i had told them he wasnt ready-this went on for months -and it also went on for weeks at home trying to learn him to use loo[i tryed lots of seats and pottys and found a soft seat in mothercare which he liked] he hadnt really mastered it by school time -but he managed -hes still in nappies at night as i dont feel hes at all ready to deal with that[hes 5 in june]. they should be aware that its going to take much longer to learn than others. i also spent weeks in the bathroom with him ,he had lots of other probs too like not even able to master pulling his pants down ,or get on loo ect........ if there not aware i would talk to them and explain it all my son now has issues using other folks loos and public ones and still wets himself if he goes into public loos himself -so he still needs alot of help-also i found he was holding his wee /poo in at school for a long time -as it was not simple to him to just use loo -he needs to be told to go ect....

disgrace it was i couldnt hear it fully but it went along lines of dr pretending to say a joke to moe about woman coming to him with adhd son whom he said they call s.a.d.d.o.s. or something in the proffession like dr banter it stood for some digusting remark agaisnt mums of children with adhd didnt quite catch it then cracked on to say they just want pills so they can dope child up to sit watching tv all day i nearly choked fancy saying that on a soap wonder if they get any complaints i hardly watch eastenders normally i just was eating my tea and caught it

my 2 are like wild animals let loose in garden ive recenly moved and they are old folk next door -bet they think what on earth...... its also same hysteria in the house -if anyone said anything i would just have to point out one son has probs...... i mean i never had a garden in last house so i intend them to make most of garden we now have

i love strawberrys -can eat a punnet a day just cut up with bit of sugar on- i was very sad over winter as the un english ones were horrid but my joy as shopping in sainsburys other day when i spotted some english ones -new season -beautifull they was yum yum im happy mummy now

this is very odd if they are saying some one has rung -surely you as the parent should have a right to know whos rung. also id be carefull if you go ahead and fill it in i got sent one while back -and i cant remember now if that was for rennewing it or not-but i made mistake of filling it out by myself [first time i had help and they photo copied it] well he was on high rate care but now cause of what i did filled in meself they dropped him right down to low i went to a lady who helped to put in another one stating he needs more help-and he went up to middle so i left it at that as they said if u keep appealing or whatever they have chance of not giving u anything if they think his care needs havnt increased. had u got your other one photo copied? ive recently put the mobility claim part in regarding his 5th birthday coming up as you can claim low mobilty at 5- i get letter back saying thank u ,,......ect we r looking at your claim again..... which worried me as they seem to mix things all up i hope they read it proper that i am just appl ing for the mobility as hes coming up to 5 and not the fact im looking into changing the care part sorry if this is sounding all mixed up -dont want to add more confusion hope they sort it . <'>

just an update heard this morning by letter -we have been awarded ?380 for a holiday [cheque] and ?250 in a card scheme for argos to use for recreatinal items for garden /bedding. so really happy

hi brook they are looking into this with my nearly 5 year old as well. they have noticed things regarding his eyes /blinking and shaking ,he twitchs his neck and makes repeative movements of flapping his ear ect..... also makes lots of odd noises too. rocks his head side to side on his bed at night,makes funny movements with his neck and grimaces his face when he is concentrating on something. hes been juddering since a baby -my nick name for him was "the judder man" of that advert -remember it? back then of course i didnt know of any of this-so thought it was normal

glad to hear your doing ok. your doing all the right things dont worry about your ex saying that -they all say that-its just another way of making u feel bad [as a mother] it is like a nightmare at the time and when your emeshed in it but stay strong and your life will move on and get better take one day at a time , <'> <'>

tylers mum- i thought that to but thats what they said on the tv-they did show video clips of him when he was younger and he had downs but was very bright saying different flash cards and then it showed him now-and he dose not speak ect.... so i presume the downs was masking the autism and it came out later on .....

on really bad day - very depressed exhausted tearfull

yes i just watched it one boy had downs and developed autism in his teens. i had such a crappy day today with my boys and i snapped at them alot[think its stress of 2 weeks of school] but watching this made me feel ashamed of myself and all the moaning i do. had tears in me eyes watching it very special couple indeed

thats what happened after my sons first appointment the report said there was no probs after id told them all his difficulities i wrote a letter of complaint to head of ot they said they would have a meeting to disscuss it i got letter back saying if i want to take it further take it up with the hospital trust i havnt cause im sick of following it all up its useless and i bet that cr*p report goes to the dla too so i sent a copy of my disagreeing letter to everyone involved including dla just so they know i dont agree with them.

ive got the free avg and zone alarm i had some virus and had pc man out he said they were best u could have[at least for free] actually think he said they were as good as norton. errmm actually had the virus before he downloaded the things for me .actually think it was spyware i had on mine and other stuff that he had to get rid off.
