  2. I'll be thinking about you too on tuesday We went for my sons assessment last week, only two hours tho and that was with a coffee break! I hadn't realised that we would find out there and then, I had assumed that like every thing else it would take ages for them to write out a report and send it to us. Hearing the dx was shattering, even tho we expected some of it, and would have been gob smacked if he hadnt of been dx AS. I got some truly wise, warm and wonderful advice from this forum. Be gentle with your self. <'> <'> Hope it goes really well and I will await your post assessment post should you want to do one redberry

  11. I have tears reading your post. Very similar story to ours. Our son has finally got dx, just last week and I feel a huge mix of emotions. We changed his school as the senco in last one totally ignored the fact that my boy was suffering. He was quiet, well behaved and lived on his nerves from the first school bell til the last. She absolutely refused to acknowledge this and made his life there hell. She made me feel inadequate, paranoid and stupid. She made totally incorrect observations and filled in any questionaires using another child, cos it certainly wasnt ours that she was writing about. Any way we ignored her, moved schools and finally after nearly two years S got a dx of AS, dyspraxia and tourettes. I think your post will encourage alot of people. Thank you for sharing your story. It has made me feel less alone redberry

    Can't sleep

Sorry, <'> didn't mean to be flippant. This is/can be a serious problem and I really hope you get it sorted soon. Good luck redberry
  14. I sort of agree (quite grudgingly!) His technical perfectness is just so offputting in my humble opinion. His ego even for a guitarist (ducks incase husband reads this) is HUGE. I think Neil Young is very under rated as a guitarist. Not particularly technically up there, but plays with 100% heart. Gary Moore has best 'guitar face' though redberry
  15. I used to sing "Me wife and me kids they pack up me tv" Yet another happy punter looking forward to a good sleep tonight! redberry
  16. Coherence (as in heart beat, opposite of chaotic heartbeat) Scientific fact- heart beats beutifully coherently when in 'love'
  17. Oh hot metal craftings acceptable! redberry
  18. Good luck with the mice removals. Our cat used to leave the bottom half of well chewed mice either on the floor by Ms (Husband) side of the bed, in exactly theright place for him to step on them as he got up in the morning (one got stuck on his big toe and he had to shake it very vigourously to remove it!) Or... on his pillow Our cats are old now and sleep by the fire so we have humane traps for any mice. Yes you have to take the little blighters miles away - or spin em round three times- because they can find their way back. redberry
