It is time like these....when there is lots and lots of newspaper articles about dyslexia that i am pleased I am and do not read them. I was diagnosed till I was 16 having had five different english teachers at secondary. I was so angry with my school I look into legal action....but decide against it. Our brains work differently I love reading and read all the time....in fact people are shocked when they find out I have dyslexia.

O has had a few upset like this.... One was about electric, he learn about it at school and was worried about us hurting ourselves.... Another was about the smoke alarm....and did it work.... well Done for drawing pictures and explain it to him

Bought the children to the library the other day.... O read about his fav subject cars... R read cat in the hat books T run around for awhile in and out of the garden.... I read this book by Jo Edgar....publish about 1999 not a bad read...not overtaxing...as some books I read.... BUT you find yourself nodding alot through it....

T does when very excited

O is alot easier as he gets older , as you can explain things to him T is alot better as now he has language so he can communicate back

Fingers crossed the day went well.......

Our weekend went really well EBAY Wooden Grden House is up....kids were in it till 11 on Sat night....with a torch.... Sunday Mr Q's grandparents came round, made a home cooked dinner forom Scratch include a iced sponge..... Grandparents thought the kids were great and really confident.....and comment on T and how his talking has come on since January....they wished they could stay longer with the kids and us Monday going to see my parent went really well.... Excellent weekend

My O often does not go to bed till 11 because 'turn hid brain off' well that what he says....

Good luck for all those going back to school tomorrow... Mine are back next Tues And T starts on the following Monday..... O has got one of the strictest teachers in the school, but has the best class for grades and discipline, the teacher last term did not want them to move up.....she love them all too much.... On a plus side O looking forward to doing harder work.....found last year a bit easy..... His new teacher is a speical need parent herself and has taken on the role as SENCO so fingers crossed everything will run smoothly....
