  22. l have the same problem with my asd 9 yr old attacking his 5 yr old sister, my son does not like his sister invading his space because she used to go up to him wanting to play but he did not want to but she has learnt the hard way that it is best just to stay away from him, my son has a little speech so most of his frustration comes out towards his sister. i also try to do special things with her to make up for the fact that she does not always have an easy life with her brother.
  23. l had my daughters passport done when she was nearly three and on it she has her neck and chin stuck out and a sillly grin on her face and you can see her teeth, the passport office accepted that.
  24. a couple of years ago we went to disneyland paris with my asd son we disclosed that my son had autism and paid the extra premium for him we thought it was better to be safe than sorry anyway we travelled using the cross channel ferry and it was the first time k had been on a boat he hated it he had a major melt down kicking screaming runnning around it is one of the worst meltdowns he ever had and the worst hour and a half of my life when we was back on dryland and k had finally calmed down we said that we could not put k through that again. anyway we put it to the back of our minds and enjoyed the holiday when it was time to come home we decided to come home on the eurotunnel as k could just sit in the car so we just turned up at the tunnel and it cost us 300.00 so when we got home we claimed on our insurance and they would not payout as we did not take k to see a doctor while we was in france l got k paediatriction to write a letter stating what k was like and about his autism but it did no good. pesonally paying an extra premium is not worth it l know 300 is not that much money but at the time it was to us at the time. sharron
