oxgirl Report post Posted September 12, 2006 Anyone else fancy a strop? Yes please, yes please! STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID HOOOOOOVVVVVVER (sorry, I mean vacuum cleaner)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, when I clean right (which isn't that often), I have this kind of choreographed, carefully worked out routine, if ya see what I mean. Weeeeeellllllllllll, I was only into my routine by about half an hour when the stupid, stinking, manky hoov.., I mean vacuum cleaner, cuts out on me, aaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh!!! Well, it was unfortunate that the back door was open at the time, because the whole neighbourhood was probably treated to a very loud and very long tirade of very rooooooooooooood words!! Now I only have half of a cleaned downstairs and the other half is slowly going to creep over the clean half and infect it (*shudders*)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! baddad Report post Posted September 13, 2006 AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!! I spent nearly the whole day trying to find a way to manually remove a bit of malaware called 'Bargainbuddy' from my PC after it was found last night by the update of my spyware programme, which I'D'd it but couldn't successfully remove it... After looking through about 8 SQUILLION (honest injun!) reg entries for a rogue executable file etc i finally went back to the spyware tracker's homepage and found a NEW Update including a 'bugfix' for last nights download that had an error message reporting 'Bargainbuddy' on unaffected systems! AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!! And all the other stuff I was SUPPOSED to do today (LEA letter/DLA claim etc) went ooomalaatas up L& Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr BD <'>
Karen A Report post Posted September 13, 2006 Best alternative I can find as I don't know how to do huge letters.Need a rant.I left the house this am to go to parent support group.Realised I had locked keys in the house.Spent half the day catching up with OH to get said keys.He left his work bag on the tube platform on route to drop keys. Having gone to support group thanks to kind lift from neighbour- I spent most of the morning listening to HT update parents on all the developments at the local specialist provision. We do not qualify for these things because Ben is in mainstream.I ended up feeling really upsett this afternoon.I feel like we don't fit any where.Friends at school don't understand because they do not struggle with statements, appointments, afterschool care and playschemes that child cannot go to because they need support . Parents at support group mainly have children in specialist provision and do not understand struggles either. Most often ask me when my child will be coming to the school.I feel bad explaining that Ben has a large vocabulary is very bright and would not fit in at the school-they must wonder what I feel I have a right to be unhappy about.I just feel we don't belong anywhere.Am I the only person to be in this situation ?Karen

DaisyProudfoot Report post Posted September 15, 2006 AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! IT'S NOT FAIR I am just so p****d off! My son's GF has decided to join him at Explorer Scouts which is really good and I'm really pleased cos I'm a scout leader and the more the merrier. So when she turned up on the doorstep tonight I asked if she was staying over because I've already given her a lift home (15 miles each way) three times this week. She said "no" which means I now have to take her back again on a Friday - MY FRIDAY The day I usually chill out while all the kids are at scouts and the baby's in bed - I go in the bath get me jammies on and relax. So tonight I have had to miss my wallow in the tub with my Lush bath products and have to drive over to her house again (her mum doesn't drive and I wouldn't expect her to get the bus back at that time of night) I have now requested that she either stay over Friday night or not come over Thursday as well Life....don't talk to me about Life. pingu Report post Posted September 18, 2006 Pingu so sorry things are such hard work. <'> <'> <'> Just wondered does eldest have Dx ? How old is he ? I would not sit back if anyone said hearing voices was due to anxiety.Even more so if the voices say to start a house fire.Sorry if I am going over stuff that has been covered elsewhere on the forum.Regards Karen Ive not seen it covered on the forum . But after years of assessments he still has no diagnosis. apart from anxiety and sensory issues. they said his imagination and facial expressions were far to advanced for him to have any sort of ASD. They thought he had ADHD but as he sat and intergrated well during the interview they also disproved that. Since the age of 2 months he has been hard work, terrible temper/voices/obsessions/ the list quite litrally is endless. he is 14 years old and the only thing he likes is his drama class (because afterall life is act according to him) and is obssessed with death/ghosts/anything paranormal. He has no interest in anything else, doesnt like music/sport/fashion/. he started hearing the voices back in 2000 (he was 8 at the time) we saw all sorts of people who said he was "an anxious little boy". when he is in a good mood hes great - very funny and naturally commical. But if hes in a bad mood he can be rreally really distructive, and has threatened to kill himself in the past. he has tried to jump out of windows/launch himself down the stairs/strangle his sister and more recently set a fire in his room. Now tell me IS THAT ANXIETY???? Sorry to go on - it really wasnt my intention, but GGGGGGGGGrrrrrrrr some days !!. He also is small for his age which is (according to the psychologists) the reason why he is anxious. He is the size of a 9 year old. and weighs 4 and a half stone. He also has a circulation problem as he goes blue round his lips/hands/feet and face in cold weather. (lack of fat so ive been told). He really is a beautiful person and he is confident with himself which is why i dont really buy this anxious thing. They tested him again for ASD after his younger brother was diagnosed with AS but again they said he didnt "fit" the criterea. So basically ive given up. His concentration at school is the same as at home (none) and they have decided to teach him in 20 minute bursts, but he still cant do his 3/4/6/7/8/9 times tables. he stuggles with maths terribly and keeps getting told he is lazy and must concentrate more.. JEEEeeez i could go on all night - but im in danger of loosing the plot. Just sitting here typing what hes like is bringing it home - we are all so stressed what with kieran and him and squashed in the middle is our girl, who incedently has also been told she is anxious because she has an irrational fear of door locks/buses/germs/ but is convinced that all animals can hear and understand her and spends hours stroking bees and wasps (regardless of their stings). she sniffs all her food and lines things up, but again no DX because she is "too loving". To be honest with you. im sick of the so called professionals, im sure there is neurotic mum written all over their files Id better go. Sorry to whine i guess my strop got the better of me Take care all shaz
