something vague Report post Posted January 27, 2008 That Who video is fantastic. Its a matter of who can catch the cameraman's eye for the longest and i think Keith Moon won followed by Windmill Townsend and a very reserved Roger Daltry just singing. Frangipani Report post Posted January 29, 2008 Sorry Fran gotta get all pedantic on you now because music is my obsession. Jeff Buckley didnt do the original Hallelujah it was Leonard Cohan who wrote and first performed it. I think Buckley's version is by far the most beautiful Go ahead - I agree Buckley's is 'smooth' as for Cohen credit is due - it is a brilliant song. when a song goes straight to the heart and get stuck in your mind 'thats success' not all songs have an impact like that. Thats why I mentioned that song Honey and the moon in OC as you said that song had a similar affect on you once you found out the history. <'> All the best Frang

Fxx OOH YES Fran, I love ALL the Bowie songs... I came across this one a while back, he is doing a duet with Cher, looking at him here makes me go rather hot under the collar, ooh think I'd better go and have a lay down.... Just as well I wasn't in the audience as I might have done what the Tom Jones fans do and throw something on stage... and before you say it BD I don't mean eggs!! Post #202 <'> I love, love, love that song Sentimental value too - a great friend of mine is deaf - but she can feel the beat of that song through her headphones - if it's turned up louuudd! Great vid led to lots of daft writing on our hands.. 'Oh i'm sorry - do you read sign language? - only she's deaf' Said to irritating blokey trying to chat us up... 'Here, look ..... she'll show you' Then friend held up hands with various obscenity written on them.. With 'off' written on her thumb.. Hours of entertainment!
