Does anyone fancy a night out at the cinema?

Recommended Posts

Well, the topic title says it all really.........

The cinema at Teesside Retail Park is good, or I'm happy to travel up to Newcastle or similar area if that'd be easier.

And no, it doesn't HAVE to be Sweeney Todd, honest

Quite fancy PS I Love You, and I know DH won't want to see it.

Oh, that's great Looby

There is a major plus for choosing Teesside.......it has a life size cut out of Mr JD, as Sweeney Todd

His eyes follow you, as you make your way to your particular screen, and it took all my will power, when I was last there with dd, not to snog his face off :lol::lol:

Yes, the casino is still here Brooke.....ooh, you've just given me another idea for a night out

If you'd like to come along to the piccies, but are worried about travelling, we can make up further up your way if you'd like? Think that'd probably be easier for Looby too.

What about the Metro Centre cinema?

 Sorry Looby, I'd always thought Durham was wayyyyyy up, near Newcastle......:lol: I'm appalling arn't I?

Brooke, I could meet you somewhere you feel comfortable with driving too, and you could follow me down? Or maybe someone could give you a lift if another member decides to come from your end?

Durham wise your correct though. It is about 30mins to Middlesbrough, 15mins to Boldon Colliery Cineworld, and 20mins to the Metrocentre. The Metros cinema is horrible though. I'm still not driving at the moment so wouldn't make it this time but might be interested in the future. Supprisingly ended up seeing PS I Love You at Boldon. The write ups sounded good. It is a bit heavy though and depressing. Perhaps not the best choice given what my lifes been like of late. Enchanted the new Disney film is a hoot that I recommend to anyone with children. Have fun all. When's the next Northen Meet then? :D
