Seaweed

Greetings all

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone :) I'd prefer to go by the name "Seaweed" here. I'm a 22 year old female, diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome three years ago. I've not really been an active member of an ASD forum before as I find it quite difficult to talk about my AS experiences / thoughts online, but I think if I can get over my shyness / apprehensiveness, hopefully I will find being here beneficial. :)

I've had a quick browse around the forum and already I've found quite a few useful things. So... yeah. Hi!

Hi Seaweed, good to meet you. :)

You're very welcome here, whether you want to post or just lurk for a while.

I hope you'll soon feel comfortable about joining in, they're a friendly bunch here. :)

Hi Seaweed. I am 26, diagnosed with AS last year, although I suspected for several years before that as well.

Feel free to browse and get comfortable. You could join in the Off Topic folder first if you prefer :)

Hi! Everyone. I'm a 38 year old mum with Aspergers Syndrome and a Hearing Impairment. I have 3 boys. One is not on the spectrum (his diagnosis is Global Developmental Delay). The other 2 are twins. One twin is diagnosed with Autism and is overactive. His twin has ADHD and is waiting for his Autism diagnostic assessment. I'm in Hampshire, southern England. I was diagnosed back in 2003 at the Maudsley Hospital.
