New independent school for ASD

Hi everyone,

 

My neighbour told me about a new independent ASD school being set up in my area. It's based on the Treehouse School in London.

 

Well, to cut a long story short, Kai has been given a place at an EBD school and is supposed to be starting next week. He's been out of school for 15 months now. I really don't think the school is the right place for him, so i've been looking at alternatives.

 

I phoned the secretary of this new school and the Head phoned me today. She's coming to see me on Friday! The school has been approved by the LEA and places will be funded. The only thing that makes me concerned is that the school is not yet established.
